I reviewed all the MySpace pages yesterday and on the magistaff page, I noticed that they seem to have a lot of "rocking friends". The page has been up for quite some time, so I believe that music is part of their business/hobbies.

So what did you think about Father Sheamus O'Shaunessy's MySpace page - he has a "Rent-A-Wife" for his first friend who has all movie stars and celebrities for friends (especially since Will Findem's column in The Daily Stalker is all about featuring and seeking out celebrities as they venture out into public?)

Edited:
Also, new blog posted on Cubby Kovaleski's Comedy site:

"I'll be here until the end of February then it's off to Atlantic City for the Spring/Summer. I am finally getting some gigs! Make sure to come out and support me if you are in the area and bring your mothers."; and more

He has a show in Las Vegas on 1/20.

I personally think that the Myspace pages aren't relevant at the moment, except for Mister Willson's. I think that they are there to flesh it out a little bit and give a nice bit of amusing backstory, but there has been nothing so far in the game to suggest that we need to be going over their Myspace pages with a finetooth comb, I just don't think that this game is that subtle!

Today's clue doesn't seem very relevant either. The puzzle solved, using a Rot Tool on Unfiction Tools:

ok, so i'm new to playing an ARG as this game is the first that i've participated in. so i really have no idea how fast they move along. anywho, i have no idea if i'm just retarded and stuck on a part of the game or if i'm just supposed to wait in the winds until they release something new. i'm past the level "and so it begins" and i'm currently on "are you on the in" but it just brings me to the other site. now , am i missing something or is that where every1 else is?

To move on to the next task normaly only requires that someone has finished the task - then everyone moves on but the first (& sometimes second) people score more points. You might want to check your Tasks page again to see if you have new tasks. The game is currently on 'Price of Admission' - the photo task.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Moving from 'Are you on the in' required finding Mr. Wilson. It turned out to be a Myspace page : http://profile.myspace.com/whoismrwilson (I think I got that right).
From there you need to send him a friend request and disply his 'calling card'. You should also visit http://www.joinmylegacy.com/ and log in there with your game login.

Alternatively you could check out the wiki : www.whatisthisgame.wikidot.com

and/or the official forums : http://www.whatisthisgame.com/Forums

for more info.

See you in the game Smile

stage 2

Is anyone still here? Stage 2 is about to begin.

Edited: I guess it just began - there is a new link/task that leads to a special report on the Daily Stalker.

Yeah, I have no idea what to do at this point. The article doesn't seem to point us anywhere.

Yes, it is hard. There is a new article today entitled CanADIA, JAIL, BLOOD, & More jail.

Also, the only thing I noticed is that there seems to be a couple references to time.

1) On the contract the phrase "This time is for keeps" (which to me doesn't sound like a complete phrase)

2) On the Screaming Kidney's myspace page, the band bus has the phrase "Lost in time" on it (the bus belongs to Greystone). The photo is in the photo section of the myspace page.

3) On The Daily Stalker, the latest special report has a clock in the background with time on it (but they have used this picture before).

Also, the Screaming Kidney has a photo of the calling card with "Who am I" on it. So maybe we are to guess.

The only other thing I e-mailed/commented via Legacy myspace page that I accept the contract (the contract if you notice says "accept my offer and seal the deal"). So I accepted just in case.

New MySpace Blog
Legacy

A new MySpace Blog on Legacy:

Hello again friends. It is time for me to begin what I have been planning for so very long now. I can only hope you are prepared and ready for what I have to offer you. As time goes on, I will only be turning up the heat. Remember, I operate on my own schedule and if you want to play my game, you will learn one of the most important virtues, that being patience. Do this, and you will be rewarded heavily before this is all over, that I promise you. Await my calling.

MW

Gah! Don't tell us all to be ready for Stage Two and THEN tell us to be patient when nothing happens! Geez, this MW guy certainly likes to mess with us.

can't get on websites

Can anyone else tell me if they are having a problem getting on any of the websites? The only one I can see is the myspace page. Otherwise I get the following messages:

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Yeah - same here.
I assume they are updating the sites.

At one time we received encouragement to use this forum. I think they may have wanted to see more activity here. Both to help spread the word and because they have to take their site down so frequently.
