WOOT!

I'm still in the points lead. Although Hangman made the most progress.

I will register for ARGFest-O-Con this weekend. I'm really interested in how SOTM is going to be able to interact with that event. It should still be a blast, though. Boston in July!

WOOT!

e-mail from the Host
Eyes of the Beholder Video

Well, I thought I would go ahead and ask the host if there is a puzzle to be solved or not since the video went to 3:13 and then the video stops with Mister Willson & the Calling Card . Next, it continues in blackness to 5:03 when 3 loud music sounds happen at the end. So was thinking it might be a clue to something. Anyway, I got answer and here it is:

The series of videos you are referring to are visual clues and have no "puzzles" to solve. Consider them separate from the game and more as a larger puzzle that when solved will open your own eyes.

Gotta love the host. Mysterious and vague at every turn.

Flash Jigsaw

Did anyone else get the answer to the Flash Jigsaw?

http://www.thedailystalker.com/Articles/puzzle060508.html

I sent in my answer; hope I got it exactly right - I think I did, but not 100% sure until I hear from Alex.

EDITED:
Heard from Alex - my guess was correct.

It is:

Well I actually finished the whole puzzle even when it became obvious what it was. It was a tough puzzle, but I enjoy puzzles so I didn't mind. Of all the TDS "puzzles", this was the fist real one!

That was really hard; you must have better eyes than I do - I tried zooming in on the pieces and it wouldn't zoom.

It wouldn't zoom for me either. The secret to solving it for me was time. Yesterday was slow at work so I had lots of it to dedicate to putting pieces together very slowly.

Just read through the back material on this game. Is it worth starting up at this point seeing as how people have so many point?

Absolutely! Stage 4 just started but you really haven't missed anything. Besides, the points don't really mean anything unless you are playing to win and plenty of people play just for the fun. If you are playing to win, the points don't actually determine the winner anyway. We don't know what they're for yet, but they will determine something in the future, but again, not the winner.

Yes, definitely a good place to start. As faery just said the points do not determine the winner. They are for something else that hasn't been divulged.

A good place to start is watch all the videos at

http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=staffofthemagi&p=r

Here is what we have done so far on Stage 4 (its in order):

http://joinmylegacy.wikidot.com/stage-4

We are currently working on solving these 2 puzzles:

http://joinmylegacy.wikidot.com/6-5-08-b

http://joinmylegacy.wikidot.com/whiteboard-6

If you have an answer, you should first e-mail it to Alex or Ian (his address is on The Daily Stalker Website), before posting it so you can get credit. There are no points for the 2 puzzles, but still good to let him know it is solved, and he will confirm it.

EDITED: Actually, I am wondering if the whiteboard is a puzzle or just a statement of discontent. All the whiteboards have been puzzles in the past except the first introductory board.

EDITED: New status on mister willson myspace:

is starting to get angry...but don't worry, I'm due for a therapy session

Yeah, they seem kinda simple. But, it looks like we are pointed again to the East Coast. Whoever is creating these puzzles must certainly have a live event planned. Wink

Are you sure you can't join us, Palm?

Puzzle answer

Send it in to Ian Natas. I can't believe you got that already. How about the top one (puzzle 1)?

Edited, never mind - I thought you were asking a question. I get it now.

Edit:
Those of you going are for sure going to have an advantage that's for sure. But I guess you should since you are making the effort to go to Boston.
