From the official forums:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
A hint for Question 9 on the Fourth Guardian:

"atceask"

anagrams to 'a casket'

Yeah, question 9 sucks.

I'm thinking about heading over to the W.I.T.G. store. Since they gave me a t-shirt for free, I want to pay them back by buying one. Also, I think I'm gonna get me one of those "Key ingredient" thingies. The curiosity is killing me...

Movie
Beholder Part 2

So if question #9 is

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
casket (which I never would have guessed)
,

then does the

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
body (or what looks like a body), that is laying in between the picnic tables (under the pavillion), from the casket? (in the beholder Part 2 movie).

I can't see what you're talking about in the video. But, maybe the body is Robert DeVine, or a new victim. Or maybe it's empty.

Well it's all in the eyes of the beholder I guess, but I see something laying across 2 picnic tables. I had a better one blown up and it looked like a draped body. See photo below. Unless I am just seeing things and there is a better explanation for it. I added the arrows so you could see it.

EDITED: Maybe it is some kind of altar?

Hmm...I dunno. I guess I just assumed it was part of the table or something but you could be right. If it is a coffin or altar I would certainly bet it's the same one in the video.

OK. I'm just trying to keep this straight.

The first key is the 'Key of Binding'. For a few of us, that key is physical. In Boston, there were business cards that were passed out that said 'You have found the Key of Binding' or something very close to that (I don't have the card in front of me). On the card was the website address to 'www.yekrorrimeht.joinmylegacy.com'. Since 'www.whatisthisgame.com/thetiethatbinds' produces a website with basically the same information, 'thetiethatbinds' must be the first key as well.

So we find that 'yekrorrimeht' is just 'themirrorkey' reversed. The official forums list 'The Mirror Key' as the second key.
The website has some text that FQ decoded to be
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Anyhne here remember Vera Lynn

and she found
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
www.whatisthisgame.com/Vera.html

which shows the film
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Eye of the Beholder, Part 2

I was under the impression that this is the second key.

From DH's interaction with SOTM,
Quote:
the video is not finding the 2nd key!!! that's the right track, they said, "all the clues are allready there to find the 2nd key".

and from DH's interaction with theHost,
Quote:
Without saying more than I am permitted, I can tell you that the phrase itself is the key. What is to be done with each key has yet to be stated, your task now is simply to "collect" them. There is no "puzzle" as of now to solve with them.

Lastly (or firstly), from the 'Key of Binding' webpage,
Quote:
All of the remaining keys can be found in the digital world, and I have left you the necessary clues to find them.

So, now I am a little confused. And where do we even begin looking for 'The Jester's Key'? Anyone check out Cubby's MySpace page recently. I'm firewalled at work.

I haven't checked Cubby's MySpace lately but my subscriptions hasn't shown anything new. Of course, that thing isn't very reliable in the first place.

S.E.C.U.R.I.T.Y.
for an answer about initials on a T-Shirt and it was wrong.

Updates on websites
Pink Floyd Vera Song

I checked around for updates and found that the MySpace Page http://www.myspace.com/whatisthismovie has the song "Vera" by Pink Floyd playing in the background. So if you would like to hear the song - all the lyrics are there.

The name in the song is Vera Lynn. So I am assuming that Vera is the girl in the new video - The Eye of the Beholder Part 2.

Edited: Also, looking for any clue possible, found that the Van in the movie does not have a front liscense plate. That leaves:

Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia.

So out of these states, the only ones that may have a connection to the game are: Florida - a mention that Father was going to visit there at one point; Pennsylvania - a kidnapping from there; unless someone else can think of something else. Don't know if location is relevant or not, but at this point trying to find any clue possible.

****************
edited: also, how are these 2 movies connected? (Part 1 and Part 2) The houses are similar, but not the same. Both have white old worn paint; both have the exact same color green shutters, they are both very old houses (can tell by the foundation).

Also, Vera (presumably) is in a closet (there is a wooden dowell with clothes hanging behind her). Is this a closet in the house? Or a closet in the church nearby where the casket is? I am thinking, but not sure that she is in the closet/coat room of the church because she is sitting on a folding chair that is commonly used in churches.

In the first video, the broken screen door is covering the vents in front of the house that are zoomed in on in the second video... I'm thinking we may be missing something here with the Jester Key, because didn't the First Key lead us to the Second Key? Maybe there's something in the second key to lead us to the third key... and, I've been checking Cubby page for a while and no updates.

Invitation to YouTube Group

I received an email inviting me to join the 'What Is This Movie?' group. The location for the 'Eye of the Beholder - Part 2' is somewhere in southern New Mexico . Why do you suppose that there is a location shown for this video and none of the other ones?

Edit: The location is Sierra Blanca, TX

Lebowski SOTM said that the Vera video is not the second key. So I didn't think we had even found the second key yet.
