Yeah, I had the same problem, once. Send a message to the admins and let them know. They should reply with 'it's in the mail'.

I've added my card to the google doc, and slotted in my two shirts, though the light I got (just a party bulb) isn't showing the shirt codes, and it just barely made out the card code. finding a real black light won't be easy here. =/ Gotta find a specialty store or something. Or order one online.
It would be nice to have anyhow Smile

Black Lights

Do you have a Home Depot where you live? Really, I got mine in the light bulb section of Home Depot for only $3.99. It was just a light bulb that you screw into any lamp and it worked great.

You can use it in a lamp until it runs out so it is not like you are buying it just for this project.

yeah that's what I got, the 75w black light bulb, but it's not showing anything on the tshirts, and only barely on the white card

Black Lights

I wonder if it would help if you put the shirt in the sun to make the glow paint glow brighter or would that do the opposite effect and make it fade? I kind of remember something about putting it in the sun.

I did email adminSPLATwhatisthismovie.com with all my Paypal details when I first posted, here. No reply, yet. If I don't see something by tomorrow, I'll join the WITG forums and PM them.

P.S.: I'm pretty sure putting the shirt in the sun will only serve to fade the ink, even more.

I'm seeing a new message in my mailbox acknowledging the delay and saying they're sending an additional card with the shirt.
It says it was received on Tuesday, but I didn't "see" it in there till last night.
I must've missed it somehow, though. either way, it's all good, now.

There is an announcement on the whatisthisgame forum:

"All outstanding orders have now been shipped. We will still accept orders Until October 1, 2008 at which time a series of puzzles will be issued where the rewards will be missing pieces. We want to wish you all the best of luck in the final stage and look forward to finding out the identity of the winner at the finish line.

PS For those having trouble....Black light is required, but UV is desired

New TDS articles are up. October is surely going to be a doozy.

Ok, I found a black light that's much better and was able to pick up the letters on my shirts... all but the top and bottom of their backs... I've added what I could find to the spreadsheet

Code:
      FRONT        BACK
+----+------------+------------+
|   3|            |     -      |
|    |H L     W C |            |

+----+------------+------------+

For those waiting for the letters from the T-Shirt that ARGNet received, sorry, but I haven't had the time to find a black light, nor do I anticipate getting a chance to do so. If someone wants the T-Shirt for themselves, I'll be happy to send it via post mail to the first to claim it. Just PM me here, mkay?

jamesi, if you've got a hardware store, or someplace with a nice selection of bulbs, you could find a 'decorative' black light bulb... but I think the quality might be hit/miss. The one I got from an art/poster store was way too weak (though 75w) - the one I got from home hardware (also 75w) was SO much better.
I'd love to have a hand-held UV light, but a decent black light bulb was sufficient ($2-3)
