MSN Conspiracy Game http://www.theconspiracygame.co.uk/conspiracy/
It all begins with a phone call in the dead of night.
What unfolds will challenge the most perceptive of minds. Fortunately, you'll have the new Windows Live Search at your disposal to help unravel the nefarious plot. Pick up clues, follow the trail and see if you can expose the truth at the heart of the Conspiracy.
Your old friend Professor Adam Whitehead says he needs to see you. Urgently.
There's just one problem: when you get to his house, he has vanished. All you can find is an old puzzle box and some cryptic manuscripts.
The challenge is clear. Can you reveal the sinister trail that leads to the professor?
You'll have to solve riddles and open the puzzle box to find him and crack the conspiracy.

Anyone else playing this? I solved the first two notebooks, but I can't get the first answer to page 1 or page 3 of the third notebook.
(Page 1 is especially frustrating...I figured out the final answer based on the clues, but I can't get past the intermediate questions.)
Let me know if anybody needs hints on the puzzles I've solved.

I managed to finish it, but I found these pages very frustrating because the answers to the questions seemed less logical than the other books. If you PM me to remind me of the questions I can try to provide a nudge.

Help! Can anyone help me with the third book? The questions are
Q1. Underwater listening system used by the US... what is the cover story about in the cold war?
Q2. Listening to the sky(stars or constellations)?
Q3. Highlighted letters N, T and H from different nursery rhymes, what do they mean?
I have been at these for hours and they are so frustrating!

A hint...

You only have to anagram one word from that phrase.

Hint 1...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I wish SOS and US would get married...then we wouldn't have to see them apart anymore.
Hint 2...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There is a project whose goal is to receive messages from the sky...WOW wouldn't that be exciting.
Hint 3...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
This one took me a while. Don't focus on the NTH for now...suggest something else that you see on the page.

I just started the game and I'm stuck on the 3rd puzzle in what I guess is the first notebook. The question is "What could have burned an old piece of paper in London?" I feel really stupid asking for help, I'm sure I'm overthinking as usual, but I've been searching for over two hours. Can someone please help me out?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Something important happened near Ekaterinburg in the same year that the chess match was played.

Don't go due south, go south and a little bit east. Another way to get the answer is to research conspiracy theories about this region, and to figure out which lake is associated with them.
