My theory on Jamie Lascan-HO, or as i like to call her J-Ho

I honestly think that the girl in bed is just someone who passed out froma bit too much drink, perhaps at the house or perhaps from the night out Jamie has just come back from. I think the reason she said that "oh it's a girl it's just so and so" is to show that it wasn't a guy, it ties in with the whole "i'm not cheating" etc.


Their relationship still seems to be in the early stages and the worst thing that can happen in a relationship, especially a new one that is long distance is someone being accused of cheating, i believe that is why she is so upset about the whole thing and i think the guilt stems from the fact that she is feeling lonely and tempted (we've all been there i'm sure) and this just brings out those feelings even more when she has to defend herself. She also says that she is trying to be perfect (something along those lines anyway) which just supports my idea more (in my head it does anyways).

I just had an absolutely crazy idea, which is commonplace for me.

What if Jaime Lascano really is a Ho, I mean, what if she's an escort?
1. She got a call to hottub with the Knicks.
2. All of the photo's at different locals, with all types of men.
3. The possible STD from NYC5. (had to throw that, hehe)
4. Starving artist trying to make ends meet in Manhattan.
5. Does she actually show any type of company that she works for, and even if she did, what's to stop her from making some money on the side.
6. She's a possible alcoholic, and apparently has stomach problems. Signs of a repentent heart?
7. Strange people occupying her bed. And it doesn't seem to bother her overly much.

Any feedback?

In fact, judging from the size of that girl's arm, she *could* be the one in Jamie's bed.

Military is one option, yes.
The Greenpeace /Save the Whales theory is another good option, and one that could be very apropos of this movie.
Tagruato as "the good guys" (regardless of whether they really are) is another good option.

All those listed above make sense.

But it seems like if Ted was military, Jamie shouldn't have been so "surprised" that he left a few weeks ago...from her writing, it sounded like he just up and left. If he was sent on a tour of duty, Jamie would've been expecting it.

Since Paramount just posted this video, you can bet that the cast/crew are checking everyone's reactions on the web - including us.

SO... I want to say that, being a sensitive person, I feel really bad for the person laying next to Jamie because no one can tell whether it's a guy or girl. If it's a girl, I'd hate to think we're hurting the feelings of the actress by saying it looks like a guy, and if it's a guy I'd hate to hurt his feelings by saying it looks like a girl. I HATE this part!! this may be all in fun, but those are still real people and I just feel kinda bad about it I'm just sentimental that way.

SO NO HARD FEELINGS TO THE ACTOR LAYING NEXT TO JAMIE!!!!

I don't think it's the military. In the first video jamie comments on their last night together before he left, and she seems very bubbly as though he just left and she hasn't had a chance to miss him yet, which tells me it was probably pretty recent. By contrast, in the third video there's no bubbliness (granted, she says "it's late") but she is already defending herself and her loneliness - as well as her faithfulness - at this point.

Since all of them are New Yorkers, I don't think she would have said he was off saving the WORLD if he was in the military - she would have said he was off defending the COUNTRY. SO... I think he, like Rob, are up to something at Tagruato. Their website specifically says they are into all kinds of questionable stuff "for our future". I think the monster is related in some fashion to Tagruato, which is why Rob conspicuously looked - not scared - but deeply concerned, as though he might have an idea (if not the answer) to what was happening during the trailer video.
