How will this end?

I was thinking about the Don's threats regarding who will win the war. Dale saved one but will he lose Diana and Meaghan? Wouldn't that be the war?

I was also thinking about how easily ( traffic and miscommunication aside) it was to retrieve the mask. Phyllis had to get it away from Iris. Now the wand is scaring Jill enough that she is willing to give it up. I bet the DEGs wont give much trouble there either. They just don't want the ritual done ahead of time or for some other purpose. Phyllis says they don't have to have the items together for whatever ritual to work. The Don must know that as well and know that we will be willing to do the ritual.

The mayor's happiness leads me to believe that the Don is happy with the way things are progressing. We know the date will probably be August 27. We don't know exact time and place.

Dale has to be there first with his local Army as protection. Sarah, GW and the Guides better get their stuff together or we are just playing into the Don's hands.

The game doesn't say we have to win. Many myths don't have happy endings. How do we assure that we win?
