About your email, I thought you tried contacting them for IG purposes, sorry xD

Of course not. But, well, you see...I've been used to not telling the whole world what I am privately communicating with in other CFs/ARGs. Even OOCly, due to the fact that I'm raised on competitive games, where players usually work against each other, not together. Hence, my relunctance.

That's okay. Just try to remember that silverladder is rather different in many ways. It's more artsy, and focused on players actually bonding with the characters and the others, as well as pushing you into some phylosophical issues xD. Otherwise, this wouldn't last a whole year Wink

rattling the Kage
of the Korp

I blame my own curiosity but I sent The Korp a myspace message and got an interesting reply:

From Me:
Quote:
Subj: Did you find something?
MSG: What do you want to know?

From Korp:
Quote:
Did I find something?
I found the brass key.
How is the weather tomorrow?

You used that "did you find something" line that the weird Korp guy said in person, didn't you?

That's smart. Where do you go from here?

Happy Holidays

This may have been pointed out already, but The Korporation has changed their website once again.

Most notably (aside from the stale holiday greeting), the morse has been removed and replaced with:

KORPORATION = GROWING
KORPORATION = THRIVING
KORPORATION = YOURS

It doesn't seem terribly important, but I thought I'd share.

In case we lose this change:
[quote]Loyal Consumers,

It is with great satisfaction that we report that The Korporation Inc. has grown larger, stronger, and more dominant than ever before. Thanks to your interest, obedience, and support, we have risen to levels not previously reached. Thanks to your input, suggestions, submission, and information sharing, The Korporation has been able to make advancements more swiftly than we had projected. Things are happening here at The Korporation, and it's because of you.

Our grip on the market is tighter than ever before, because of the energy you have put into today's Korporation. We plan to squeeze every single last drop we can out of it, for you.

It's going to be a rough holiday season for the competition!

Happy Holidays,
The Korporation Inc.

I love how they can come up with new phrases to express the same things they've said all along: YOU'RE A KONSUMER, WE KONTROL YOU. They give great speeches with double meaning, that's what I think. They sound just like any multi-national company...if you were to read it once you'd tend to think they're not bad, but their true message is right here.

Did you find something?

I messaged The Korporation on myspace with ... as the title and Did you find something? as the message. Hopefully, in the reply, there will be no mention of the weather and I can ask him/her/it that to find out the answer to that question.
If we all try this, we can figure out Korp Codes and make them think we're Korp!

There is an english policeman standing with his arms crossed with the caption, "Move along. Nothing to see here..."
That's a completely different website... The one we're referring to is http://www.thekorporation.net :/

Email from Jane

Quote:
though the korporation is indeed worrysome. i think they've been planting
false information and doing other little things here and there to upset
passengers and throw them off of the journey. they are so good at getting
people to take their eyes and minds off of what is truly important and
focus on unpleasant things. they are extremely evil and full of hate, but
they are not stupid. they are good at what they do. and, i hate to say,
a lot of it has been working.

remember the story about feeding the right wolf, anii? that needs to be a
huge part of the foundation of all this. i don't mean simply in relation
to the deck and the korporation, i mean within each passenger. i wish
each passenger would take an honest, deep look inside themself and see
what areas of their life are feeding the wrong wolf. if each passenger
could even rid themself of one thing in their life that feeds the wrong
wolf, it would not only make this journey better, it would make their
+life+ better.

there is so much positivity and love and admiration and respect among the
passengers, and between the passengers and the deck. there is so much
good in all of this, and the potential for far more good is right there
under the surface. people simply need to get past the rough patches to
get to what's good. people need to not quit. people need to not strike
out at each other in anger. people need to not beat +themselves+ up in
anger. people need to remember what the whole point was in the first
place, and smile. people need to learn how to laugh again and remember
that we're not fighting a war here. we're going on an amazing journey.

school was alright today. i am kind of cold. i don't enjoy the cold. i
don't enjoy the short days with little or no sunlight. the cold rain is
wearing me down. though i do enjoy sitting by the fire with my kitten and
reading a good book.

i love you ms. loli. i hope you are well.

paix et amour (that is not just something i say).
2h (jane)

Let's just stop paying attention to Korp. They're boring anyway.
