to clarify the dialogue that's said in the little video:

"Listen to me"
"Skynet"
"It's happening again"

Oooh, update!
When you load the page, the first thing up is a tape from Pescadero Hospital. Click it, the countdown comes up, but then a new video starts.
"This is real...they will take over...we're all in danger, my mom's not crazy."

Don't know much about Terminator, but wasn't John Connor Sarah Connor's son?

 Viral Advertising
...creates zombies out of people.

Arrow This will most likely be a viral marketing campaign, not an actual ARG. It's supposed to catch your attention and keep you watching for updates. Very similiar to http://www.1-18-08.com

The hospital tape has the doctor's name on it, Silberman.

What's on the tape...
Long description of the tape and incident on the tbtf site?

Not very useful info, but another ad was on family guy tonight.

Pescadero Hospital must be referring to T2's Pescadero State Hospital, the facility Sarah was being held in. The video we see after clicking on the tape is obviously not part of a recording Silberman made as John says clearly his mom is not crazy and John thought his mom was crazy June 8, 1997.

This site goes into detail on what might be on the Silberman tape though - http://www.filmsite.org/term2.html

The relevant info -

PESCADERO STATE HOSPITAL - State of California - A Criminally Disordered Retention Facility
In one of the institutional, bare brick cubicles of the high-security wing, one of the female inmates is grunting and sweating while doing pull-ups on the upturned frame of her bed - the tendons and muscles of her arms bulge as she dips and pulls up rhythmically, like a machine.

In the corridor outside, a group of young hospital interns are led by Dr. Peter Silberman (Earl Boen), who introduces the next patient. Because of her mad ravings about terminator robots and her delusional fantasies and recurring dreams about Judgment Day, she has been diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic:

This next patient is interesting. I've been following the case for years. A 29-year old female, diagnosed as acute schizo-affective disorder. The usual indicators - depression, anxiety, violent acting-out, delusions of persecution....The delusional architecture is fairly unique. She believes that a machine called a 'terminator,' which looks human of course, was sent back through time to kill her. And also that the father of her child was a soldier, sent back to protect her - he was from the future too (he chuckles) - the year, uh, 2029, if I remember correctly.
At the door to the patient's room, Silberman greets her through the intercom: "Morning Sarah." She (Linda Hamilton) turns and her wild, angry eyes peer out through a tangle of hair, as she responds: "Good morning, Dr. Silberman. How's the knee?" He turns to the interns and is forced to confess that she has made repeated attempts to escape: "She stabbed me in the kneecap with my pen a few weeks ago. Repeated escape attempts."

In the Pescadero Hospital, in one of the brightly-lit interview rooms, a video screen plays a tape of a previous session with her at least six months earlier - Sarah and the doctor watch dispassionately as she hysterically describes her recurring nightmare about the cataclysmic end of the world on Judgment Day, August 29, 1997:

It's like a giant strobe light, burning right through my eyes, but somehow I can still see. Look, you know the dream's the same every night, why do I have to...The children look like burnt paper, black, not moving. And then, the blast wave hits them and they fly apart like leaves...It's not a dream, you moron, it's real. I know the date it happens...on August 29th, 1997, it's gonna feel pretty f--kin' real to you, too! Anybody not wearing two million sunblock is gonna have a real bad day, get it?!...You think you're safe and alive. You're already dead. Everybody, him, you, you're dead already. This whole place. Everything you see is gone. You're the one livin' in a f--kin' training cell with me. Because I know it happens. IT HAPPENS!
After the tape is freeze-framed on her angry hysterics, Sarah stonily comments to the doctor: "I feel much better now. Clearer." As she is questioned further, the camera withdraws back behind a one-way mirror in an adjacent room. From there, Sarah is being videotaped and notes are being taken as she explains her improvement over six months and her desire to see her son John:

Silberman: Let's go back to what you were saying about those terminator machines. Now you think they don't exist?
Sarah: (in a hollow voice) They don't exist. I know that now.
Silberman: But you've told me on many occasions about how you crushed one in a hydraulic press.
Sarah: If I had, there would have been some evidence. They would have found something at the factory.
Silberman: I see. So you don't believe anymore that the company covered it up?
Sarah: No. Why would they?

Back in the interview room at the hospital, Sarah is denied her request to see John by her doctor: "I know how smart you are, and I think you're just telling me what I want to hear. I don't think you really believe what you're telling me today. I think if I put you in minimum security, you'd just try to escape again....I don't see any choice but to recommend to the review board that you stay here for another six months." Not taking the news well that she can't see her son and is ordered into isolation for another six months, Sarah leaps across the table and grabs Silberman's throat, viciously attacking him. She is quickly restrained by attendants and sedated. To the camera on the other side of the one-way mirror, Silberman quips: "Model citizen."

In the nurse's station, Sarah knocks down an orderly, slams Dr. Silberman with her baton and breaks his arm ("There are 215 bones in the human body. That's one! Now don't move"), and then takes him hostage. He asks with a terrified look on his eyes: "What are you going to do?" To prove her dangerous potential, she fills a syringe with a poisonous, industrial strength Liquid Rooter.

Sarah jabs the syringe with blue liquid against Silberman's neck as they begin moving toward the outside entrance. At the security checkpoint, she forces the attendants to open the barred door and they proceed through. An attendant in hiding lunges toward Sarah's hand with the syringe, pulling it away from Silberman's neck. She scrambles off down the corridor as the panic button is pushed and alarm bells begin to sound. As she is pursued running through the corridors, she rounds a corner - elevator doors open and the leather-clad, T-800 Terminator steps out in front of her. His head swivels toward her as she brakes and slides onto the floor. It is her worst nightmare. Freaked out, she scrambles on the slippery floor, clawing and spinning to get away. Sarah doesn't see John step out from behind the Terminator and try to stop her: "Mom. Wait!! Mom!"

And then thirty feet away on the other side of hospital lock-out bars, the T-1000 Terminator emerges. He momentarily stops at the bars and then oozes and squeezes his shape through them - a stunning, computer-generated image. His body divides like jello as it passes through, reforming and reshaping perfectly on the other side. Silberman's jaw gapes open - a plastic syringe cover that he has been holding in his teeth falls from his mouth. The T-800 Terminator yells to Sarah and John to race toward the elevator: "Go! Run!" There at the elevator door with his shape-changing arm, the T-1000 slices through the steel of the elevator door and prys it open. His head is blown apart by the Terminator's high-powered, rapid-fire Browning shotgun - it is splayed into two parts. The liquid metallic head quickly reforms itself.

just noticed this site shows a slightly crumpled piece of paper now with some sort of schematic on it. when you click on it, it shows the counter, but behind the counter you can see clips of some type of robotic thing with legs.

Man that robotic thing is creepy. Human legs AND robotic - plain creepy. Terminator prototypes maybe?

I think that the video with the legs is demonstrating some sort of Terminator technology before the tank-like T-1 models. Can anyone see what is on the paper? and why is the counter wrong?

the piece of paper with the schematic has some labels on it, I noticed. one of them I could make out to say femur. Might be part of a T-800 leg.

Also, if you change your computer's clock to when the counter on the site says 0000 (I did December 2011), you'll see a flash of a T-800's head.

I wonder why, though, whoever started this viral site (if it is one) decided to have the counter end in 2011. It doesn't make sense for a viral campaign to last for 3 years.

My guess is, as the counter ticks down more and more, we'll see clips of how Skynet came to be and the evolution of AI and robotics. (Which is what this four-legged machine is most likely part of)

 I think i know.
Takebackthefuture.com

i have a theory'

i believe that in the series coming up.....the time period is obviously in johns teen years so i believe that the "countdown" suggests, thats when judgment day will occur (in the series time frame) Smile

Also i agree with yamato' it is obviously "terminator" tech.

going to the site now has a glowing red circle, obviously a T-800's eye. clicking on it will show the counter, now at 0000. the countdown slowly fades away, interspersed with static, and shows a map of the world, with a couple of meters in the counter, showing the population of humans and cyborgs.

a couple of "explosions" will appear on the west coast area of the US, and then a huge number of explosions will suddenly appear all over the place, along with obvious hints to global nuclear fallout. the human population goes WAY down, and the cyborg population goes way up. I'm pretty certain that this depicts the global domination of Skynet, when it became self-aware and took over.

after this ends, the map seems to be interfered with, and then slowly fades back to the counter, which shows the current real number of days remaining. (last I checked, it was at 1192)

just a reminder - for those who have seen the show now that it's aired, post contents with caution - use spoiler tags for TV related spoilers for a while, otherwise try to focus on the EniTech/Takebackthefuture game events... (unless of course they're inextricably linked Wink)
