But the significance of 2011, December is that it is the start of the war.

Site's been updated. Now it shows several clips from the show, the number of days chaging every time, before ending on 1206.

the numbers shown are
2739
1987
1920
1975
7542
0232
1206

strangely, the source of thenumbers, an xml file (yeah I checked the flash source and browser cache) has two different numbers for the last two: 0350 and 0000.

I'm not sure how it figures to display 0232 from 0350 or 1206 from 0000.

Offset dates by numbers that appear (in case there's a pattern) are:
2739 days from today is (July 31, 2015)
1987 is (July 9, 2013)
1920 is (May 3, 2013)
1975 is (June 27, 2013)
7542 is (Sept 23, 2028)
0232 is (Sept 18, 2008) -- 350 is (Jan 14, 2009)
1206 days from today is (May 20, 2011).

Aside from the now apparent cheesy red eye overlay on the terminator skin, interesting update Razz

eta: it should also be noted the counter isn't technically "counting down" now - the numbers are static, so it may not be intended to be used as a counter, as opposed to clear significance to the numbers. somehow.

Well, that's OK - I did read it - I guess I didn't understand it. I didn't know what show you were referring to that people saw, and I just saw the reference to terminator/chronicals - I guess I missed it. sorry

are you watching TSCC? Because it's not too bad, and this ties in pretty well so far with what's going on... a bit... depending on how you define 'ties in'

I think he's referring to the fact that TSCC happens before T3, changing the future so that T3 effectively doesn't happen, thus 'replacing' it. It's a T1-T2-TSCC-T4 timeline now, because the resistance sent someone back to the 60's to work at the bank, somehow altering its future sufficiently to not have sarah die of cancer (T3 happened with no Sarah Connor). In a future where Sarah survived, TSCC happened.

however the movie still exists Razz
