That is because I am from earth and you are from space.
Therefore we are speaking different languages from different cultures.
But don't worry, I'm not racist and I'll respect your inalienable human rights to be weirded out by the normal.

Razz

Crunchy peanut butter. Cant stand the pasty creamy stuff.

I like peanut butter.

So, if enough people make a point based on fallacy then it constitutes a new truth? Hmmm...
OK, how can we all make the point that money DOES grow on trees?

This thread really had me cracking up big time on page 2. I was really hoping for it to keep going that well so I'd pass out by page 5. We need to get back on track people! FOCUS!

I was agreeing with Dust's points regarding the ridiculous way everyone goes overboard in regard to the straightjacket rules of posting here.
On nearly ever thread there is some busy body who just has to make some technical comment about someone's post and it's taken a lot of effort to keep myself from jumping in and telling them to shove it up their chocolate whizwang.
I'm not going to get into it with anyone here. It isn't worth my time.
Aside from the ridiculous attitudes on this matter I quite like this group of looney tunes very much.
I'm simply telling Dust that I understand him and agree with him on that point, in contrast to the nasty way others have responded by mocking him for doing exactly what they themselves are doing.

Personally I enjoy pickles on my peanut butter sandwiches.

The rules regarding posting were not arbitrarily decided upon just for shits and giggles, or just to make your life a little more difficult. They are designed to make it easier for everyone, to make things more efficient at a minimal cost of effort. In the last 2 weeks or so, it seems like the number of threads on this forum has drastically multiplied - and most of these are things that have already been discussed before. Now, you might be thinking: yes, but I haven't discussed them before! Well, this forum isn't just for your enjoyment; it's for everyone's enjoyment, and if you come in late, then take some time and CATCH THE @#&* UP. Read the old posts. That's why they're saved here - sorta the whole point, doncha think? It's not asking too much. To just casually shrug off this minor inconvenience as being somehow offensive or beneath you is one thing (and, it's enough); but, then, you complain indignantly about people who are only trying to remind you of the rules that have been put in place by the good people who are kind enough to run this forum and MAKE ALL OF THIS POSSIBLE FOR YOU! ...sorry, capslock got stuck.

So, please play by the rules, or don't play at all. If you think that's "straightjacketing" then, well, that's an ironic choice of words. Wink

Hey folks, can we cool back down and keep this lighthearted like it was 10 posts ago, there's no need to become rude...

Yeah, my last post does look angrier than I intended. It's something about this thread - makes me crazy, man. Confused

No flamewar please. Think Denmark.

Well, for the record, I do agree with the general sentiment of your post (except for the capslock bits Wink) and I don't recognize a "straightjacket" approach on these forums at all. A lot of people have even asked the mods and admins to step it up a notch. If we want to keep these forums accessible for everyone, there needs to be some form of order. And preferrably in the way it's being done now (which is mostly self-correcting/self-organizing and not by applying total smackdown).

I'm sure there's a ton of forums out there where you can post whatever you want as much as you want without anyone bothering. I'd like to see how long anyone would stick around...

Yeah people, remember this thread is about how eeevil JJ is for trying to make a chaotic fiction for us and then NOT PAYING us. I mean, that may start a tendency, and then the PMs won't pay their players, and what will I do when I don't get payed for gaming?

The only thing worst would be for him to charge ME for seeing his dumb movie. I may do something crazy if that happens. And I'm so stressed from people bashing me on this forum that I'm talking something really crazy. Like blogging about it. Or writing a post in All Caps.
