Cloverfield?! Why must there be suspicions that all ARGs are tied to it?!

This seems more like a conspiracy to me. Was this tied to any other existing ARGs, and can someone bring me to speed?

Also, think of it from an admin's point of view.

Would you remove one of your best players, just because he pisses a few people off now and then? Of course not, you'll do the minimum you can to please the masses and keep him around.

Oh hell.
Look, I can understand that the 48ers would feel lousy about suddenly having to share information to a bunch of noobs, especially since they don't know that UF'rs are totally noob friendly. Perhaps Ic doesn't know that UFers almost ALWAYS have a wiki or a back thread designed specifically for new players and that one of the fundamental agendas of UF is to be INCLUSIVE. Perhaps if he knew that we always extend that courtesy to new people then he won't think we are taking advantage of 48's hospitality. I'm going to post the UF code of conduct on the 48 page, just so the 48ers know that we are all about teamwork and non-competitive collaboration. And Cyng, I'm all pissed off that you're in a position where you have to leave. I think we need you, and I think most of the 48ers are wicked good people. Most of them have been absolutely warm and delightful, and I like them. I hope you come back. I always look for your posts and it won't be as much fun without you.

i wish i was made of your iron and wasnt such a hothead

i think my meltdown yesterday was due more to the fact that its finals week than Icarus--there's one of him in every forum and i should have known better not to be sucked in by his swirling vortex of angst

i'll see how i feel on thursday after i've handed everything in and written all my exams
