Heya dude how are you??

I recently saw a video by this local band around here called Uneven Ground..I could swear I saw you in it, but you did look different from the clips of 48 hip that I saw you in. Was it you? You from Ontario?

Wow. So weird that you saw that. I just came across it myself.

No, I'm not from Ontario, but they were friends of Brody's and he shot a video for them and through a big party. The whole thing s was two days of craziness.

And yeah, I'm in it. We were all a little crazy in there. Two days of partying like a rockstar.
Man, that's like... five or six years gone now.

How did you happen to see that video? Those guys packed it in a long time ago, I think.

Haha well it just so happens I am very good friends with this guy named Fuser from this local band called Automatic...I was browsing his Myspace profile and came about Uneven Ground (I guess bands stick together lol).

I thought the vid was cool, but I do think Brody has improved quite a bit in his editing career It looked like a great party though!!! I like indie rock music..They always manage to surprise me with enormous amounts of talent! Do you have anymore footage of that party? I am quite interested in seeing it

Do you still listen to metal?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jagt Tanner <jagt> Fri, Jan 4, 2008 at 9:36 AM
To: Me
Haha, well Brody didn't edit that vid. Not sure who did it. You find him taking any credit for things like that. He's shot a lot of big videos, but always refused the credit. Just wanted the world to see one dimension. I guess.

Canada was spawning some great bands and I often found them a little more diverse than the poopsicle of punk-junk coming out of NY.

I don't listen to metal a lot now, but I still have a few gigs of it on my now seriously outdated ipod.

Hehehe, well it does not surprise me he didn't edit it...

I for sure agree with you on the Canadian indie scene. I have been to some great shows here, and we Canadians know how to party!! If you ever go back to Canada be sure to check out Automatic. I am sure they will be around for many years to come

Oh and btw, ipods can suck my balls. I hate that stupid ass poopsicle. It is all about my trusty CD player

What have you been up to lately? Keeping busy I presume...Any luck finding Brody?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jagt Tanner <jagt> Fri, Jan 4, 2008 at 9:56 AM
To: Me
No, no luck.

Damn I was hoping you can tell me how to reach him...Sorry to hear that though..He was a good friend here too

I am sure he will turn up eventually...Hopefully.

Cloverfield just came on tv...I remember when that movie came out...There was such a big fuss over it...Brings back some memories...that is for sure. Have you seen it?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nah, all hype, no substance. Not my kind of flick. Course I never saw Titanic or Spiderman either.

Lmao!! Some people should really think twice before creating a film. Leave it to those guys to throw art out of the window and create a big pile of poopsicle that won't stop playing on my TV... *shakes fist*

Stick with the "cult favourites".. Like David Lynch

Sorry if I am bugging you, but I am very bored and have no one to talk to. People sure are strange when you're a stranger

Yeah. Twin Peaks. That's some good poopsicle.

For sure!!!

Lost Highway too and all of his short films <3<3<3

Or 48 Hours in purgatory *nudge nudge* Although that didn't go quite as planned...

Oh, I think it did. That film was huge.

I just think people need to know the truth.

Well yea I know it was huge, but it caused a lot of good people to hurt...Makes me sad..

People do deserve the truth. And I am really glad to see that you did not disappear along with the rest of the crew Do you think people will prefer the truth?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jagt Tanner <jagt> Fri, Jan 4, 2008 at 10:51 AM
To: Me
People never prefer the truth.

I just wish I thought to intervene back then.

Why didn't you?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jagt Tanner <jagt> Fri, Jan 4, 2008 at 10:54 AM
To: Me
Just never occurred to me at the time. I still thought I'd see Brody again. Thought it was just another edgy film in a list of brilliant and crazy movies.

Yea, sometimes I wish I could look into the future...It would help a lot with making decisions.

You know, I remember going to meet with Brody back in 2007...He never showed up though...I also remember going to Brantford with a couple of my friends for the hell of it and I could really swear I saw you there in a big food court type place with a Tim Horton's and a Wendy's.

Weird poopsicle sure happened back then..It was a weird ass year.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jagt Tanner <jagt> Fri, Jan 4, 2008 at 11:03 AM
To: Me
I remember that place. We ate there a LOT.

Brody was a no show? Not like him, actually. Well, not counting his complete disappearance.

To: Jagt Tanner <jagt>
Yea I can swear I saw you there, getting food...But I had to pee and when I came out you were gone... I was gonna say hey

He never showed up...He was supposed to come with Arkham but he never came. I think I remember him saying that something caught his eye..I think I know what that means...and if my memory serves me right he also asked you to come but you said no
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jagt Tanner <jagt> Fri, Jan 4, 2008 at 11:09 AM
To: Me
Probably.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Me Fri, Jan 4, 2008 at 11:12 AM
To: Jagt Tanner <jagt>
That is unfortunate...Maybe if you would of went with him he would of actually showed up :S

Whatever...I guess you can't change the past, right? All we can do is hope for a better future.

What do you believe made him disappear?

After seeing these tapes... Brody went to hell. He's probably trying to get his head right. I'm sure he's ok. He's a tough bastard.

To: Jagt Tanner <jagt>
Yea I am sure of it...Last I spoke to him he was in Cleavland...Said something about waiting for a Godzilla movie or whatnot :S Also said he was going to try and get ahold of this friend of his named Jamie...This was at the end of 2007...Have you tried contacting her?

I dunno...as tough as he is, whatever hell he is he should not face it alone.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jagt Tanner <jagt> Fri, Jan 4, 2008 at 11:22 AM
To: Me
He's a lonely guy. Always was as far as I could tell.

Jaime. Yeah, I tried. No dice.

I have to run, but thanks for chatting.

Icarus - `` Jagt, you may not remember me, but I was friends with Brody, you and I talked a few times. It really doesn't matter. What matters is something that has been on my mind for quite a while. Brody had mentioned an incident in the snow that he couldn't erase from memory. He wouldn't elaborate but I was hoping you could.

Indulge me? ``

Jagt - `` Snow?

Maybe whatever went down on that football tape I found? I still haven't found the proper deck to run that tape without glitching.

Sorry I can't be more help. ``

Icarus - `` Yeah, he mentioned football but you know how Brody can be. He's very vague and quick to change the subject.

What format is the tape? Perhaps I can help. ``
