The counter still says 25,897 on mine. Will refresh and see, and update in a sec. Nope, still the same here.

jazbey, yeah I noticed the change to the painting too, that definitely was NOT there.

Just wish we could crack #8, this is really starting to irritate the **** out of me.

I've also spotted a new style book on the bookshelf (don't want to give it away to those not got that clue), am *sure* that wasn't on there.

That's weird, I've refreshed the page about 4 times now and I'm still getting the counter as 0 it's still shows me completing 7 dominoes though?

Room Changes

I can't see any new books on the shelf. Also, my community counter has been reset to 0.
I see the signature on the painting now, and also think the the print on the tyre looks more legible.

Considering on the game site it says the codes are on the villagers websites, then I would assume this is a bluff in order to keep us away from surfing the net...maybe something someone posted earlier was a bit too close to finding the answer?? Or maybe, just maybe the person who posted that he/she has solved clue 8 is lying..

Either way I know for sure my game room has nothing else that is clickable or changed from the above mentioned stuff today.

you know, telling people that they have solved the clue and to keep looking around the main room seems like a perfect way to keep people busy while they continue to look for the correct answer. maybe i'm just cynical but given that god knows how many people have been stuck for over a week on this, i'm suspicious of only 1 person finding the answer.

I did think the Carniceria Guzmam site was a bit obvious, but i have still been searchin it like every one else! lol

Something else that's been getting me for the last few days is why do all the other websites use flash player except for the Carniceria Guzmam one? None of the links appear to work properly in it - you cant get back to the home page from the images? Does make you wonder if they have the website set up incorrectly?

It looks like they've also reversed the phrase rather than having the characters upside down as before.

They must be trying to get more people to this stage. You'd assume they would know how many people are up to Domino 8 by now. So perhaps they have a target for the number of users before pressing on. And as they've made the earlier clues easier, you've got to assume that if indeed we have missed something then they'll do the same for domino 8.

The 'fake' links are deliberate; you can see in the source that they have been deliberately styled that way. I'm sure (from memory, I'm at work and can't play around) that the other sites also had fake links.

Either the Carniceria Guzmam site is a total red herring or it is supposed to point us in the direction of another site. If the Facebook and myspace links were uncommented in the HTML they would appear in big letter above his address. I remain suspicious that the current myspace page is a gamejack though.

I am convinced that there is something at Allposters.com - why else would a UK company have an advert (link) on the eldorado site in Argentina?

BUT I have searched and searched guinness posters, Ramon, etc etc, nothing- and I cannot find the picture of the swimmer (behind S. Ramon)
