Source Code

Looking at the source code for carniceria guzmam at the bottom is this (as you probably know):

Nice to see you here Pedro, thanks for the add!"

Buenos Pedro, I heard this joke and thought of you:
A man walks into a butchers shop asks the butcher "Are you a gambling man?"The butcher says, "Yes". The man says, "I bet you fifty pesos that you can't reach up and touch that meat hanging on the hooks up there." The butcher looks up at the meat hanging on the hooks. He says, "I'm not betting on that". "But I thought you were a gambling man," the man retorts. "Yes I am," says the butcher, "but the steaks are too high".

I can't find a record of that anywhere on the site, it could mean there is something hidden but it isnt a flash so i think we have to wait. Sad

meats

The only thing I could possibly think of that (at this point) could be in a html site is the photos of the meats - since there are six of them, could it possibly be related to how many are pictured - for example, 6 hams, 2 chickens, 4 chicken legs, 5 steaks ?, 2 groups of chorizo, but the other sausage photo I don't think fits.

I still think we have to wait for the flash considering the matchsticks on the chalk board.

If it means anything, the location of the butcher store is El Dorado, Argentina but the Chorizo sausage is from or near Candelario. The reason for this is that on the guzmam meat site, under the photo of the chorizo is a phrase and when translated found out the chorizo is from Candelario.

Picture of Chalkboard - El Che
No Match Sticks - No Hidden Writing

I agree, I do not think they are Match Sticks - I am attempting to attach the pic at 4X magnification

[EDIT] Found the stock photo of "EL CHE" thru Google Images Title "BLACK BULL" - led to DK Images - a legit business.

I was out all day at a client meeting and find you guys have been busy. I catch a train every day from Marylebone so know that area well. I wouldn't have called that number as it is their office, but I'm glad somebody did. Never know, it could be a clue. The tenacity of ARG players on a hunt is to be respected.

It's definitely not set in Spain. Everything I've seen leads to Argentina, but curiously, Juan Ramon does not have an Argentinian accent. He sounds more Mexican than anything to me. I could be wrong, but Argentinian accents are very distinctive and somewhat hard to understand at first.

never was spain...

argentina is the only country i've seen reference to.

not that i would know one accent from the other, but Juan Ramon does seem to be very old Mexico flavor.

Mr X (or any other spanish speakers)

Are you listening to the radio in Juan Ramon's office?

The clips that were previously being played have changed. I have very rusty spanish, not able to pick much up, but have just listened to an interview between the radio host and Diegopaz (from Domino 6) . I couldn't really understand much else, I was trying to listen for numbers and got 37 from somewhere (not much help I know).

It's also playing a special promotion for cerveza guinness, which is new.

Some translations would be good. Is it called Radio Oro?

I still have to listen to all those and write them down. I will do that, hopefully get my wife here, and check it out now.

The 37 you're referring to is in the interview with Deigo Paz. I'm not sure if it was 37 or another 30 something number at the moment, but it was in response to asking him how long he has painting. It stood out to me because Diego doesn't sound very old, his Flickr address has 1975 in it and the 37 (or whatever) didn't fit with that.

I think the radio station is radio boludo. My wife tells me that boludo means "cool" or "good" in Argentinian slang.
