I know us guests are p******* off you experts but ----- the flickr picture found by googling double 5 was created on 11/05/07 the same date the facebook picture for Guzman was created.

I fear I am going the same way as CaptKing. This is getting ridiculous.

There are some that are contributing useful and interesting ideas and info to this thread. Unfortunately, it is drowned out by the flood of spam by those who have not taken the time to put a few moments into reviewing the previous posts.

If you insist on finding numbers, I've already got you started on page 28, http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=21710&start=405 ,almost forty pages ago. I thought I could see numbers as well.

Until 2 pages later on page 30, jjocke found the original stock pic. The website black bull and the stock pic are identical. There are no numbers there.

But continue to ignore the previous posts, they don't really have any information there.

It's not a matter of "us experts" what it is more like is having a ton of people invade your home & trash the place while they are doing it.

I am by no means an expert, but I have enjoyed sleuthing this game out & I have been on unfiction for a very long time.

We full know that many of the guests are coming here to get all the answers we have (without even trying to solve anything on their own), we are used to that, it happens all the time.

At the same time, how much courtesy does it take to read the TOS for the site, to actually read through the thread, etc?

Most of us that have already gotten this far are from the US - we can't even win anything - we do it for the joy of it.

But we are assaulted by 100 newbies & guests, posting arbitrarily on our forum without even registering, without reading what has already been posted before, nada.

After a while we do get frustrated, we do find it rude & we try repeatedly to request that people register, that they read the forum, etc. Just to come back the next day & have to do it all over again. It gets tiring.

Unfiction is a community that works on the principle of sharing information - we will never change that. All we really ask is that you use the search feature to see if what you are posting is really new information or is it yet one more rehash of what has already been rehashed too many times.

You see, when this is all over, we will still be here, and maybe a few of you will hang around for a while too, but the majority will leave, having gotten the information they came here for, caring nothing for the moderators & admin that have to keep the place organized, and even the people who win golden dominoes will probably not make a donation to unfiction even if we helped them get to where they could win. Not even considering how much it costs to keep a site like this running.

So forgive us if after a week of waiting & dealing with the influx of newbies & guests everyday that some of the veteran members here are tired of the rudeness of those same guests & newbies. Forgive the veteran players if they express that exhaustion & frustration - you will eventually leave (most of you anyway) and won't have to deal with it anymore, but we will still be here & we will only have to wait until the next similar game top go through it all over again.

We welcome new members, always, we just ask that you read the thread, search before you post & register as a player here.

Is that too much to ask?

point well made Red Hatty & I've registered ( I personally had read the whole thread) & we all have to start somewhere. Hope I can add value at some stage and not appear too much of a parasite - that wasn't the intention - also got wound up in the "fun" Embarassed

Birthday

anybody know the exact date when Guiness was founded, they have just celebrated their 250th birthday (also its an in joke on the 'El Dorado' page). So 6 digits = dd/mm/yy. So a clue could be ????57.

tawecdl,

the proper way to have done that would be to refer the poster back to the original post on page 37, after having registered yourself as a member of unfiction, not just a guest.

Re: The Arrow
Is it pointing to the numbers?

It seems weird to me that the Carniceria Guzmam site isn't a sponsored link.

It was a sponsored link on Saturday, Nov. 3, as I posted before, the keywords on the chalkboard produced a sponsored google ad and link:

Carniceria Guzmam
www.carniceriaguzmam.com Cosas buenas llegan a los que esperan!

But the sponsored ad seems to be gone now - I tried it again and it is not there. So this is new info - seems like they took the ad down.

arrow

I've been been reading through this thread since getting stuck on domino 5 - so I'd just like to thank y'all for your help getting to 7. I haven't had anything to add to the suggestions for solutions to domino 8 - but at the risk of creating another garden path off the mayhem created by all this.

I've been wondering about the arrow that appears on the wall outside the Carniceria. I've searched through the mah-hoosive thread and I can only find two references to the arrow on the wall. Bearing in mind I missed the "Domino Dorado" reference, and the fact I've been climbing the walls looking for numbers (and clutching at straws) - perhaps the next step is to do with the guy who runs into shot and then jumps over the hams.

Would it be wrong for me to be grateful if I'm wrong?
