Thanks. It seems as if I am the only Mod for the forum too LOL. I am trying very hard to be polite with my "hand slap" replies & not snarkey - I know what it was like to be new here & not know how diffferent this forum is compared to many others I have been on.
So if I do sound snarkey, please send me a pm to let me know & I'll tone it down
And now I return us all to our waiting game in the game play
Edited to correct spelling - RedHatty

Yes! Thanks a lot gingois! Especially for linking to the wiki, this will hopefully quell the influx of questions.
Also, maybe we should start a new thread? Lock this one and have one post that answers all the questions people might have? Such as red herrings, etc?

makes sense to start fresh, BUT someone would need to do a digest of the red herrings which will take considerably longer than reading all 66 pages
Hope we come up with an answer tonight as I won't be able to play til Thursday after tonight

NO! One thread is all we get in News & Rumors - if you tried to start another, it would get locked & redirected here. One mess is enough!
In my sig - I have links to the progress & the wiki. The wiki has been updated with source code changes & a recap of what is found on guzmam's source. The only challenge is getting new visitors to READ IT FIRST

Just wanted to intoduce myself Hi, I just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. I have been following the progress of this forum since I got stuck on Domino 6.
Thought I would drop you guys a line and say a huge thank you for all the efforst you have put into this.
This last Domino has been driving me and my better half barmy for 3 days now, I even dreamt about meat last night (thanks a bloomin lot Guiness lol)
Unfortunately I don't have anything new to add, I have read every post on this topic (including the wiki stuff)
Will keep trying and let you know if anything new comes to mind ( I won't annoy any of the Mods by going over old ground - I promise)

Welcome lancpa! That's funny as I dreamt of sausages last night. The sausage company should thank Guinness for making us all aware of Chorizio. I think I am going to run out and buy some for dinner tonight

I wonder if the delay is related to the "loss" of the MySpace component and perhaps the Facebook one as well. I cannot find a real Facebook and got no response from the one where the name was spelled Guzman. Maybe they are coming up with new links. Anyway, if you click on the mayor a number of times in a row, he will go through different responses. One thing he said is that "you can find the answer in different places".... so creative approaches may unlock the code after all?

I run a bar here in the UK, and was seriously contemplating not ordering any today and stop selling what I have. I might phone their Tech Services and say I need a problem resolving, LOL. I've even resorted to substitution ciphers with the first letters on the blackboard and got nowhere. Maybe we are the next tipping point.

IIRC, the mayor's responses have been the same since the beginning. and the reference to different places I *think* referred to different search engines, youtube, flickr, etc.
there is a valid facebook with pedro's pic on it, but no help there.
Either we have gone down a completely dead trail or the ad company running this has us delayed for a reason. If the latter, they are frustrating a lot of people, if the former, we have no clue where to go yet, we have tried many different things here all with no joy

Re: Federico III the Happy German Trivia

I have been watching your amazing progress while fiddling around with my own attempts to solve clues. Regarding the Federico III Hosteria - restaurante y confitería - It exists in AR at the site www.cafedelhostal.com.ar, but I don't see it as an in game site as the Source code does not seem to contain the [:::I:::] and it has active links to the outside (AR tourism offices), but Federico III is the Spanish translation for Frederick III King of Germany and Mr X points out that Alegria Aleman roughly translates as the Happy German?
Probably nothing - but your collective genius may discover otherwise.
[EDIT] www.cafedelhostal.com.ar is the url - but it seems not to have linked correctly in my post.
