request for spying
Cassidy sent me this email...She wants us to spy ont he Sons of Arkayis. Woo hoo! I wanna be one of those slinky spies who wears stillettos!


I would like to recruit your group to do some spying. I gotta warn you those, it's pretty dangerous. If they find out you're working for us, they'll kill you.
First off, I'm adding those names back to the list. This is only for cover. If you work for us, be careful. Don't let too much info out. I would like to know who it is that's behind the catastrophe in Gray's Point. This will require some mole-work in the Sons of Arkayis.

Nice job, Phonon81! I tried that same key on my decoder and it didn't work. What Vigdecoder do you use, 'cause I think mine stinks.

We're still holed up at the Haggard's Hazard. The storm seems to be receeding now (or we may be in the eye), so we can rest a little easier.
At one point, I thought Echinocogna was multiple demons... but I think it may just be one. There's a story in Arkayis, about the tainting of mankind, that thousands of years ago Dheana planted the first seeds of hate and envy in our souls. They began to blossom, and mankind began to war. the few that did not fall victim were taken by the Goddess Arkayis and altered, made immortal in order to preserve the bloodline. But the seeds of evil got to them too, and they began to despise mankind.
Arkayism speaks of two chief Demons:
Damaskus, the demon who was punished for an insult againt mankind. He is a robed, shadowy figure with a face like an eyeless china doll or an undecorated Noh mask.
and Echinocogna, the Spiny Dog (a translation of its name), the demon who may never have been human at all. Echinocogna feeds on the flesh of humans, which it traps with its fog, and it is believed to make other demons, either out of its victims (windigo?) or from its own body.

Hopefully the Soldier didn't catch on as quick as you have.
There are still a few things that need to be done to resurrect Dheana. Gray's Point will be unsuitable; more likely, we will use Greater Miami Shores, the place where she was sealed. But to break a deity's seal you need blood... special blood. It has to be human; cats won't do. We're looking for a high-powered psychokinetic, someone who can alter the makeup of object with his or her mind. And one more thing... the sacrifice has to be in early puperty, maybe 12, 13 years old. We supsect it must be female, and she has to have blood on her hands.

Man, WHAT am I doing wrong with those V codes! I entered 'thanatos' as well and got nothing! GRRR. Thanks for the translation, Sylvia!! So they're going for Sabbath, correct?

Updates on the Steven situation:
Although he was responsible for the Island massacre, he is stable now. Sam says he stayed with his Uncle Rodrigo right after the murder/suicide of his family. We are ALSO told that he stayed with Dr. Carter. Dr. Carter aggressively denies any knowledge of Steven's uncle Rodrigo. Steven ALSO doesn't know who Rodrigo is. AND he says that Sam is an a**hole.

I've totally been trusting Sam this whole time. Perhaps he's a plant?!?!

I'm not sure, I think it might be Steven. He is listed as one of the members of The Sons of Arkayis as S with Steven Somers email: ssomers07SPLATgmail.com

But then the email I got from Michael Schiff today was sent to an email that only members of the Citizens Against Mortemism could have known.

Anyways, something smells fishy.

EDIT:

Forget what I said above. There are too many to keep track of I'm totally lost. But I believe that (maybe) Steven = Judgment and Sam = The Soldier and Schiff is not to trusted at all. Just guessing.

tried to use camouflage.
I don't know if they're stegged or not.. I tried a whole bunch of passphrases to no avail. Maybe you'll have better luck. Or maybe they didn't extract from the .doc correctly?

Not at all sure who to trust anymore, but Cassidy says that Steven is one of her plants and that's why he's on that list.

People leads:

Rodrigo= Sam claims that Seven stayed with this uncle after the murder/suicide of his family. Dr. Carter aggresively denies this. Steven says he doesn't have an uncle Rodrigo.

Steven= is the test subject that went ballistic on that island and massacred all those bad guys. He is a spy for Cassidy.

Sam= has worked with Steven for a few years. Claims the existence of this Uncle Rodrigo, who is now missing along with some of the Carter family.

Dr. Carter= mentored Steven. Claims that someone inside Gray's Point summoned Echinocogna. mentions that the demons can't hurt cats. Seems to be generally trusted by all anti-demon people

Lawson= a mortem who does NOT have the tattoo behind his ear, and is therefore incognito. One of Schiff's men, and a threat

Schiff: Head priest of the bad guys. Wants to summon Dheanna, but needs to sacrifice a prepubescent psychic to do so (Sabbath), and mentions that 'cats blood won't do' . Plans on conducting the ritual in Miami instead of Gray's point.

The Soldier= an unknown assassin hunting mortems.

Trish= an unknown girl in Gray's Point. She asked for help and left an encoded image on myspace (not decoded).
