i figured it out it was a trifid it said

 		I don't know why, but this feels a bit... separate from Anne.

Strange, though.

Maybe it'll be like Gabriel Lawson and Prophecy of Stars - the two were distinctly separate, but both merged about a few weeks in, if my memory serves correctly.

Just say he was a friend of a friend, if you can. Also if you might, and you do not have to, but could you ask about the Somers family? Just like, if there is an Yvonne Somers alive that he knows or some thing of the sort.
