Uh...no, I...I don't get it. Unless I'm overlooking something, 221 has no significance in this ARG whatsoever. And I really doubt that Paramount would release this big-budget blockbuster to coincide with the ARG of this little $30 million borderline-independent headtrip movie that the Lost guy is making for January.


i'm not saying that the number 221 has anything to do with this ARG!

May I suggest that the title of the movie is actually the 27th letter of the alphabet? It'll be a new one created by JJ Abrams, and be pronounced "smoke monster".

hey im new to this postings thingy.

ive got what i think are some new clues, but i am too lazy to use the search buttom to look.

Firstly, i have noticed a number pattern:
If you take the age of jj, which is 41, then take away the amount of people who know who really know what the monster is (19 people) you get 22. if you then you take away my mental age (3) and the amount of people who think this post is funny (1*) you get 18. do you think that this maybe the reason why jj is bringing it out on the 18th?

Also as a side note, have you seen the picture of the girl with her head chopped in half on 1-18-08.com? do you think godzilla could of done this?

Anyway, plz dont hate me if you think i could be wrong.

 		Two things and a head's up for a contest:

1. Please don't call other people or their posts or ideas really really stupid. It isn't necessary or relevant. If you have an opinion, kindly say it without being rude.

2. My latest theory - the title is actually a glyph a la Prince when he was the artist formerly known as Prince.

So we can have the movie formerly known as 1-18-08, Cloverfield, etc. being represented by a glyph. No wonder there isn't a title.

I'm loving my glyph idea, and I would appreciate your not taking it away from me - though I admit it has been a very long and trying week for me. And, God knows, it is more than likely that others have thought of it before. But I am thinking of it now, and it makes me happy - no matter how unlikely it is to actually be correct. We're (read me) past worrying about being correct and into the phase of entertaining ourselves. (PARTY...but no rudeness aloud)

I'm thinking of starting a glyph contest. BUT FIRST....
I'm definitely starting a haiku contest, the rules are that you can only use words from the trailer in your haiku, for purposes of this contest the words used will be" it's huge, it's alive." This is a heads up. The contest will begin next week probably Wednesday and run through the Thanksgiving holidays. So sharpen your pencils and think 5 -7 -5 .

I'll post about the contest next week, when my son's college applications have been furthered wrestled into submission, slimy and soul destroying projects that they are.

 		omg and W is the 23rd letter of the alphabet and on a keyboard it is located under 2 and 3!!!!!

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy It would be awsome if it was the cut off P from the hatch or one of the other symbols on that countdown timer.

Very happy with the idea of this going from "unnamed JJ project known as 1-18-08 or cloverfield" to "That weird looking birdie with a stick movie!". That sounded sarcastic, but wasn't meant to.
