Why would a PM post in the topics when they can just read and get the information they want? I mean it ruins the game if they post and give you the answers.

Therefore, I humbly submit that the PM is anyone who has NOT posted.

In the world.

Go!

I agree. They DO read the forums/blogs, but they don't post. If they need to tell us something - about something we are missing, or a new site or something - they can tell us through the game. They have MySpace, Slusho, Tagruato, and 1-18-08 to use to give us information.

Or if they do post, they might use anagrams or something like that.

I don't work for Bad Robot. I didn't even know that was a "company" until I saw the teaser.

I agree with Dennis. As mentioned in the reference section, good PMs don't need to make posts in the forum to give clues. Now all we have to prove is that this 'ARG' is run by good PMs. Wink

I dunno. A lot of us read this site pretty consistently and it's not even my job; and with the molasses-in-January-like trickle of clues; there's really not very much the reader would have to report to the board.

"Uh, here's my report. It's one page, and as you can see, there's only one line: More idle speculation; no new revelations because we're being scroogey with the clues.."

[Edit] Oh, and I'm with Rose; what is the point of this? It won't contribute anythign to the game.

I don't think that was directed only at Hi-Res. SG can correct me if I'm wrong.

I actually think the backwards messages are entertaining.

I'm quite entertained by them too. And a little intrigued. SER-IH is obviously trying to clue us in on something. Something we already know.

I don't know if SER-IH is messing with us or really knows something.

Looks like it was...

If he thinks he knows something, he should just spit it out.

If he is a PM and actually knows something and is posting hints, he should read the Unfiction rules for PMs, as this type of activity is not allowed.

I find SER IH entertaining too. However if an admin tells you to stop, you should stop.

Perhaps this would best resolved by SER IH private messaging the admins, to clear up any confusion?

to whom it may concErn.
those who sent private messages of delight:
thank You.
those who sent private messages of scorn:
we'll get Back to you.

thanks for your concern.

I'm guessing the admins already know something about SER-IH.
His posts weren't disrupting or harsh and could have easily been ignored, yet he was told to stop.
Giving clues is not against the rules.... unless you're a PM...
hmmm.

Bye SER-IH.
