this is the first "solve" of any sort that we've had with this game in like 2 or 3 years? when i saw this i got to my feet and clapped, Randomeis. Very Happy great work! Very Happy

any luck with the stuff that bleeds below each word. some of the letters i can make out, but when i try to enlarge it all gets muddy.

just looking at the legible words of the message.

i don't know much about these, but there is a symbol now in front of the url for http://www.qu13e.com/ it's a webloc. right? so does that basically mean splinternails is protecting his site from brute force etc.? does it indicate anything else?

Well "invisibleye" was posted on the LJ when it was up, and trying to do something with the "clue" (Look no further. Nowherexi... etc.).
"Sight"... "invisibleye"..... whatever.
I'm sure there's more to it.


Edit: Oh I did notice that in the front page source only "I" is capital and on this page only the "T" is.
May be important later.

 		yay, Delusional! Very Happy so happy to sit down to my computer and see an update to this thread that is another solve! i've been attempting to look at the numbers tonight. i know our guy loves the math puzzles... but i'm not getting anywhere. i keep rereading my emails and just feel like i'm not looking at things in the right manner. not that i'm complaining, but the execution of this seems different to me. wonder if you're right, Randomeis, and we're dealing with another pm. just has a little different vibe. still happy to play either way.

Problem is, that I can't tell if this is a clue or a "fuck you, you're to slow and I'm impatient, I'm out".

I haven't had a lot of time to even try and solve the clue.
Looked at a bit again today, will try some more later.

Edit: It appears that we have the "invisibleye" post on live journal being signed "-sparkrent (is dead)", while Google cache shows "-rM".

My train of thought so far;

The end and the beginning. Am assuming that the beginning is the front page on qu13e.com.
Than look no further than the front page.
Shadows entrance, the source.
Here's where it falls apart. "Nowhereexits" looks like an anagram, but with 3220 choices it's hard to know what if anything is the "right" one if that is the way to go.
Sight; Still looking at the source this could by referencing the capitol "I" as a play on "eye" , or it could point to invisibleye.
slash - / , answer - answer. In url terms is what i was thinking, so qu13e.com/"sight solve"/answer
If that's right "I" and sight can't be pointing to "invisibleye" since it's not a directory itself but a html page in the root dir.
Another possibility that seems a little better is, somehow applying whatever "nowherexits" is to the "I" in the source giving qu13e.com/answer.

At the moment this theory rests on the meaning of "nowherexits".

Don't have any spec at the moment.
I did Just notice that there appears to be a "345" under the me twice in the me.jpg. and possibly something under the a in "beware".

Will try to give it more of a look later when I have the time.

My real reason for this post is to say thanks to the PM for giving qu13e another shot.

Looking again at "Eye see I see me" , you notice that it's three ways to say the same thing(I) separated by "see" , and there's the "me or me or me" from the image, along with knowing that there are multiple aliases.
Trying combinations of the names led to random.

This page says "Eye see you can't see me..."
Not sure if this is a "wrong turn" page, but it's a start.
The source message : "日本語読めますか？"
Possibly something in the number of "?".

Edit again: On a different note, we knew about the Fibonacci sequence in the whois "+1.23581321", is he also a radiohead fan? The other "phone number" given is +1.426148550 which after a bit of googleing turns out to have been printed on a radiohead ep.

Edit trois: I realized that the"?????????" in the source is probably my browsers lack of ability to read Japanese text. I'll try to get that working, but if someone already has it please post.

Edit 4 : Configured windows to show the text and the always accurate babelfish translates it to "Japanese you can read?".
This leads me to believe that answer may be in Japanese, but again having to rely on babelfish doesn't bode well.

 		I have a pretty reliable Japanese Translation program at home, i'll see if it'll translate it. Or at the very least there is always my sister-in-law who is over there doing language studies.

It asks if we can read japanese

my answer to that is some hiragana and katakana totally rusty though

but i suppose we can use what tools we can to make it by

 		Had noticed that, but unsure as to the meaning.
The PM's love of wordplay makes it hard to tease out the "correct" interpretations sometimes.
I was leaning towards it hinting that the page was found prematurely, put the front page now has the "| | | |{}{}||||||||" in the source leading me to believe we are on the "correct" page. But mabey not....

You have any ideas?
