I think the best suggestion so far is EVIL ISLAND. I thought it may refer to the old map of the island we keep seeing. It's got the name of the island chopped off the top right hand corner on official game site, but if you download the demo, the full name is visible:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Rico De Oro (not a Spanish speaker, but isn't that something like "Rich in Gold" - odd name for an island!) However that is apparently the name of a mythical island which the Spanish once believe existed. http://www.sandiegohistory.org/books/wcb/wcb2.htm

I've tried it in the Brothers of Drake site but no joy, so probably a wild goose chase. Smile

We may be revisiting the map with other coordinates later, and some of the coordinates that got us "defiance" may also be reused.
I've been trying to overlay the compass on the map and use V VII IX .. as bearings, but it has yielded nothing comprehensible so far.

I'm not 100% sure about the numbers on the "eldraque" poster either (9 32? 79).

How about:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Clockwise the roman # IIV, V, IX is actually for the flash game?
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ - _ _ 7
_ _ _ _ _ - _ _ _ _ 5
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ - 9

Maybe fill in evil island there?

And i thought the date in the poster was actually 33, but that doesn't bring us any closer.

Also the coördinates in the flash game dunno what to do with it:

1° 53' 25,74" S
71° 12' 34,91" W

Maybe it's just nothing.

For the symbols on the ship I get:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
COEDKJML

Tried ROT and anagram (combined too) with no luck, I'll try it on the Enigma machine on the Uncharted site.

Edit: Nothing so far from the Enigma, tried the first settings we got for it.

Sneaky pirates! Never trust 'em...

Haven't been able to make head nor tail of those letters yet either, but a handy bit of info about the 'enigma machine' which should save people some time:

[info]It's just a simple caesar cipher. Add up the offsets from the left-most-notch on each row (0-9) to get a value 0-27 and that's the shift used for encoding/decoding.[/info]

Edit - some spec:

I wonder if it's just hinting to us to re-arrange a string of letters in a particular order:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
123456789
COEDKJML
to
CODE JKLM
1243 7698

i.e. after the first 2 character, swap every pair. Otherwise it seems odd that the final 4 characters are alphabetically adjacent.

[edit - moved the spoiler tag to only spoiler possible solve, not the spec or the information about Enigma - since that is not a solve, just info - kona]
[edit - thanks, but personally I consider uncovering encryption methods/algorithms just as spoilerish as the solutions they provide. I'm sure those German U-boat captains would have agreed :p - ixalon]

those three button codes

I have the retail game of uncharted drake's fortune and played through the whole thing. After entering the three different code sequences that was found from the brother of drake website, it unlocked a baseball shirt drake costume and two cutscene making videos. According to the bonus menu in the game, there are two more code sequences that need to be entered and they will both open bonus concept art galleries.

We may need some more information to solve the last image, and then I remembered this:

Give me a shout if you know anything about it and want to make a trade.

I don't believe the podcast is "one of my other gems", so there may be some more information to dig up there. But there are no way of contacting him on his site, or give him a "shout" (unless it's "victor@sullivansstories.com").

But can we contact him through Elena? (http://www.discoveredwithelena.com/contact.html). Since it's possible to add a message when you send her the map:

We were right, "EVIL ISLAND" is now valid on brothersofdrake.com... It gives another cheat code:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
SQUARE L1 RIGHT LEFT DOWN R2 TRIANGLE UP

So by the looks of things we just got 1 more to get, which will likely come from the symbols on that boat.

It's kinda a shame there wasn't more to this. I love the content they've produced, but it's kinda like lots of build ups to what are basically dead ends. Definitely missing that motivational factor, which is why interest has very much wained as time has gone on. Ah well, I'll just keep distracting myself with Chain Factor Smile

I just entered "el dorado" and got a link to download the same treasure as "evil island" gave you Confused
I have tried this before as well, but nothing happened then.

I just stumbled on the last code. If you want to continue to decipher stuff, you may not want to look at this, because I just luckily guessed what it was after a google search of Sir Francis Drake...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
GOLDEN HIND (the ship that the real Sir Francis Drake sailed around the world in from 1577-1580)
