I just stumbled on the last code. If you want to continue to decipher stuff, you may not want to look at this, because I just luckily guessed what it was after a google search of Sir Francis Drake...

Good find Smile I came across that as well a while back, but I don't remember if I tried it on the Brothers site.

But what about "come back soon to continue the adventure..." on the official uncharted site? I was expecting it to offer up some more as well.

Maybe there's more to it?

Upfated official website

The official uncharted website has been updated and you now get to a door with various symbols around it. I am sure that they must be pressed in a certain order, but i am having a tough time translating the symbols and rearranging them into words.

after you open the door go back to the desk. You will have a new area to explore Fort and a new puzzle to open a gate.

Well, I can't seem to get it open. Cursing

Just grab the torches and hold them above the wall fittings until they get lit.
Then press the symbols (any order works?), and yank the chain a few times until the door is fully open.

when playing through the game I saw some of the code writing on the wall with the map of the island on it. As far as I can tell it says:

Hidden Long

of course, that doesn't sound very interesting and it doesn't do anything on the brothers site, but I put it up here in case they aren't adding words to the brothers site until they see we know them.

I saw this over at Games Radar as well, could just be promo related, too small to make anything out.

New ARG?

There's a nice comp running over at www.unchartedps3.com; a Google Maps-powered Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (ARG) alternative reality game. Track down Nathan Drake first and the prize is two return flights to Cancun, seven nights all-in accommodation in a four star hotel and two activities - GPS scavenger hunt and snorkel, and a submarine trip. Ten runners up bag a 26″ TV. The comp runs until the end of January.

Ah yeah, and if you're a bit handy at this treasure hunting caper, best not to post your solutions to the tasks on here, as you'll only have a slew of other contestants stealing a march on you!

I was stuck on "checkpoint" 8 before I went to bed last night.
Bought the game today, so I'll probably try that before continuing the arg Smile

I'm at the museum now, don't have a clue to solve that yet.

Completed it. Turns out I wasn't stuck, but some info didn't appear where it should have been.

http://www.us.playstation.com/Uncharted/ is updated with a simple point and click puzzle (ruins) and a new location (monastery) with another puzzle.

edit: Completed it, the last puzzle threw me off course at first.
