 		[NEW] Weird Theory
Does anyone remember that scene in the trailer where everything was red and that one girl (looked kinda like Tay Zonday or prepubescent Michael Jackson) was looking at it. I remember there was a screencap and someone said that it looked like a monster's vision. We also said that the scene with Rob and Co. and the flutterring noise had red eyes in the back. This means that the monster has red eyes. If we know any animals with infared vision, then we can start singling things out. Secondly, if it was the monster, how exactly did the military recover its memory/vision, unless it was an artificial thing or unless it wasn't even a monster, but some kind of military thingy. Or I could just be wrong about all of this and since it's a movie, I can just enjoy it. :] (Thoughts?)

A lot of the red colour just comes from the street lighting, which most of the film seems to be lit by.
One thing i noticed is that red seems to signify danger and blue means safety, but that might not be intentional.

Use of colors is usually very intentional. It's a rather subtle thing most of us key to subconsciously. I watched the trailer again just now though, and I can't say that blue is always a sign of safety. Red and blue do seem to be the dominant hues in most of the shots though.

Hmm, so what you're saying is Hud has different lenses for his camera?

Haha, well it'll all be done in post processing these days.
What I really meant was the streetlighting is flourescent or tungsten, and the lights set up by the army are halogen, that's where most of the colour differences come from.

Ooooooh. Alright then, one problem solved, I guess. But what I don't get now is since it's Hud that's video taping that one girl, why would she be looking at him in fear. Unless she's traumatized by something. I would be if Grumpypants stormed into my city, although my city's not that big. Either that, or Hud's an infected cameraman. Shocked Silly

 		I don't think she's looking at him in fear, is this the shot where she's got her arm round the other girl? It looks like maybe she wants him to turn off the camera, I don't know. I think the lights in the tunnel are just lights, the monsters seem to be coming from the other direction.
