You can't trust IMDB, anyone can add quotes.

Not to say that somebody hasn't seen the new trailer early or something, but for now, I'd say its fake.

Pretty sure thats just proof that theres no fact checking on IMDB...

They often have duplicates and misquotes in that section.

this is an actual quote from one of their users ( that everyone believes is truth)

I think the user deleted his comment because i can't find the link to post it anymore. After i read this I just stopped looking at IMDB.

ummm just for the record, this wasnt in their forums. It was actuallly on the memorbale quotes section on the cloverfield imdb page. I am not saying that it makes it 100% true or 100% false. I found it this morning and got excited and posted on it for everyone else to analyze/figure out/debunk. Please check out the actually page and see it yourself, dont just take my copy and paste job for all of it.

These are the same people listing "Odet Jasmin" as the actress playing Beth McIntyre, except that everything you can find on this amazing new actress is profiles created with no pictures and no credits other than this upcoming movie. It all goes back to what is almost certainly a serious misprint on the part of hollywoodreporter.com in the article about 'Cloverfield'. If you look at the picture on Beth's MySpace and compare it to Odette Yustman, she looks exactly the same!

I've said it before, IMDB does best on movies that are already out, because anybody can go verify the information themselves. Apparently they are too stuck on some odd point of ego.

That "quote" (entirely fictitious, of course) is from the IMDB boards' resident rapscallion, RasGold, who loves to confuse the hell out of everyone (half the board is convinced that he really works for JJ Abrams). RasGold's latest missive has been that "three" is a key number in the movie, so he invented this quote as troll-bait.
