i think some of the game aspects of this are entirely distractions. in bsp on the old silverladder site distraction was a key theme. i'm thinking that there will definitely be little easter eggs throughout and bsp was constantly evolving and changing, don't see why the current incarnation of sl would be any different.

I don't know about "entirely". It seems that they're meaning in virtually all of the imagery and mediums presented to us. Personally, I think that the largest distraction these things hold is the fact that we tell ourselves they might be distractions.

However, some things may have so little meaning that they appear insignificant to our cause, or the meaning is hidden so deep that it appears there is none...and these things, we can dismiss them. In that sense, Kafka's right: there ARE many distractions. But I have a feeling that everything is connected...somehow.

Distraction may be part of the message. Noise is just information we can't process and there's too much information at silverladder so some of it appears as noise. some of this stuff (the ingested shared media and knowledge) will take a lifetime to digest, but yes, even the "distractions" may serve a purpose. i don't think much of this is extraneous, even the possible disinfo (weren't we warned of disinfo, noise and distraction early on?)

I've found a new page linked to from the watch.

http://www.silverladder.com/clubs/2c/thesafe/whiterabbit.htm

There's a song about AiW and pictures of a Turkish man weaving and playing chess.

Distraction(?)

Because there is so much "noise" we are each bound to pick up something different and therefore sharing our experiences seems to me to be one of the largest keys we have in the coming weeks...It will only be through combining our experiences that we will have the picture. There are bound to be many moments where we hear something and say, "I never would have thought of that THAT way!"

That being said: I would encourage EVERYONE to share anything that seems like a different opinion or view than the ones being discussed...

Just my two cents...

I have checked and there are no differences between the story text in the forwards and backwards versions.

Something missing

i looked at the video under the eye on the main page, and with the help of a couple of friends slowed it down a bit. there are numbers that flash in what seems like a random sequence...3-0-1-6-8-5-4-8-7-4...looks like a phone # to me. But the number is out of service, we tried it backwards too, going of of the bible quote in the ceasar cypher...but no luck their either.

has anybody else tried to slow down/ reverse the video to see if it has any clues?

Has anyone else noticed that the countdown number sequence in distinctly missing a 2 ?

I've said this before and I'll say it again:

THIS VIDEO WAS MADE BY A PASSENGER. Freezestate/30mhz lullaby is the same as you and I. There are not clues in this video, as it was NOT MADE by the Deck.

You tell 'em Watch!

2c stated very early to us... And I've stated countless times... "Sometimes you have to take things for face value."

Overanalyzing something will just drive you insane... so stop looking for something thats not there... Leave the freezestate video alone and occupy your time when the next clue is given.
