Ok, have listened to Green Force, I think we should probs try to clean up the noise and seperate into different feeds. Then we might be able to hear the lyrics.

Edit: And my dad's deleted my audio editing software. Is anyone else doing this?

Well, IG or not, the GlassHelmets are online at the moment, and accepting friends.

I think she has the name wrong if that myspace isn't legit. I woud say the real name is something that means the same thing. She is pretty stupid & could have forgotten the real name.

Well, if that myspace site isn't legit, they're doing a darn good job of faking it. I can't imagine how someone knew exactly where to find that song so fast, given that no one else on here has been able to locate it or even the vaguest reference to it anywhere else on the internet. The quality of the playback on myspace is better than the video too, so I don't think someone lifted it from the video (unless they're some audio tech genius).

The only thing that makes me suspicious is the date of the profile/website, and the fact that the website isn't registered to any of the usual suspects (Albert Pike, Teddy, etc), but has the proxy thing.

Couldn't of lifted the song from jamieand teddy because it's way longer(if not the whole song) on MySpace. They have a blog now.

EDIT : J/k

Much truth is said in jest, even if the speaker doesn't believe it themselves.

Despite what some have tried to assert, there are thousands of people following this (considering the number of blogs, fora, and the like), and that number of people could find the real song by now. I don't see anyone here mentioning using Songbird to try to find the music - that's a browser based media player with a focus on online content. That's just evidence that our expertise here is not limitless. That said, it's completely possible someone found the song when we have not. It wasn't a steady poster on the forums that found the password to the site either.

I had my own experience in trying to find a song I actually knew lyrics for, and asked at more than one music store. This search started in 1995, and I was hunting for a song that had the line "the messiah is my sister". After searching for 5 years, finally Google's ability to use the quoted phrase allowed me to discover the title - Love Spreads by Stone Roses. When was that song released that nobody could recall in 1995? 1994.

I still have my doubts that the MySpace is IG. Same goes for the site.

If it's OOG kudos to the perps because they had to find this song that had no name or band name and hardly any discernably lyrics in such a short period of time. What makes me cautionary about this is how they let the comments through without checking them for IG references. I got to say I'm leaning IG because of all the screw-ups by the PMs so far ('cause if this is IG now there will always be doubt because of the timing)

Thet weren't checking the first few comments, but they are now - friend & blog comments... Cool

They don't seem to mind the IG references...overt or otherwise Confused
Unless they're cherry pickin' the ones that say things along certain lines,
and disgarding the others...

If they have some measurable amount of viable communication w/ one of the
Slusho!7 myspacers, or something to that effect, I'll entertain it a bit
more...

Seems like filler...gives ya a place to voice your concern for "The Cause" Very Happy

Wouldn't seem like it matters whether they're IG or not - they've yet to
posit a lead, relevant or otherwise...

Now if Jamie became their friend and added a comment that would prove IG for us.

That Greenforce site looks OOG to me. Still, though, Teddy might be involved in a fictional version of something like Greenforce. It's an interesting site.

The only IG comments I see on that glasshelmets myspace page are references to "The cause" and asking if they have a bandmember named Teddy. Those aren't too overt - Jamie says "the cause" four times - so, that phrase is already IG. And, asking if they have a bandmember named Teddy isn't such a big 'reveal' - doesn't spoil the illusion, etc.

It does seem odd, though, that there's nothing from or about Jamie or Teddy on that glasshelmets myspace page. In fact, if that myspace page were a new addition to all our IG stuff so far, I'd think there'd be a lot more to it, considering the myspace pages they have made up for this thing so far. Instead, it's a very bare bones myspace page - it seems like it was thrown together as quickly as possible, so I vote: OOG/gamejack.

As soon as I say "the messiah is my sister" I knew it was Love Spreads...you should have just asked me instead of looking for all those years. (lol) Very Happy

There are now sites where you just load up lyrics you know and it can find almost any song for you (www.getlyrical.com) which I have found quite useful of late but the quality of Jamie's video makes it very hard for anyone to get a string of meaningful (and correct) lyrics to do a search on. Whoever did the myspace has almost done it too quickly to be OOG.

I wish it was January and this bloody movie was over and done with so I can find something new to obsess about!
