This just in :

- An e-mail from Rocco, one of Smithy111110's "friends"
- An old picture of Uriah Tettleson

- A view of Vinson Massif posted on keyhole.com by "a" Smithy111110 (spotted by Scribe)
- A post on the Gamesforum.ca, once again by Smithy (spotted by Scribe too)

Phew, busy busy !

EDIT : And then some. It seems Smithy is hard at work at the Flagstaff library, as he got us :

- The cover of a book checked by Tettleston back in the days, and
- A scribble found inside the book.

And...More news from his "friends".

The scribble says:
Quote:

spoke to A.C. + H.P.B. about "our mutual friend" -- terested - she's not

AC could be the Andrew to whom the library card was addressed...

Or AC could be magickal meister Aleister Crowley? Very Happy Maybe HPB refers to some similar real-life person...?

Very good shots Scribe, ARGholic !

To put things in a nutshell, Helena "Madame" Blavatsky was the founder of the movement known as the Theosophical Society. As for Aleister Crowley, he was known as an occultist and philosopher and was told to be the "wickedest man in the world" (and if I remember correctly, made a short "appearance" in the LoneltyGirl15 series ?)

Ah, excellent, a distinct possibility - good spot, ArghAholic.

Is it worth mentioning it to smithy at all?

I don't know. If it is, how does she fit into all this?! Can't talk now - have a potential, er, "financial backer" to meet tonight.

As a side note, the name found on painting is that of a supposedly tibetan spiritual master. More info here.

In alphabet positions, 14 = N and 23 = W, so this is probably a job for Google Maps... I guess the the other numbers need to be formatted properly though.

Update: I suspect this is the location we seek, just north of flagstaff. Zoom in a little, and you'll see it's fairly icy and looks like a small mountain.
