I emailed back saying evil among us. Lets see if I get a response. Also did google searches on Evan Wilson and Sam Siiver. Evan Wilson is a real famous musician and nothing came up for Sam Siiver.
This is my first ARG!!! I am also trying Silver Ladder. I could use any tips you guys can give me

I e-mailed back as well, this is my first ARG as well, I hope it will provide a release from teaching.
One quick off-topic question if you don't mind - is it best to get in one an ARG before it starts as in this case, or is it ok to jump in one like, say silver ladder, or red monday, that have already begun?
thanks in advance,
Namaste,
Jimmi

Grr. Just wrote a huge response and I got an error posting and it vanished -__-
Anyway. No one is witholding any kind of information. I'm sorry but did you actually click the link to the blog? It says clearly in the very middle of the message:
Quote:
E-mail the answer to the Secret Society's E-mail secretsocietySPLAT iname.com … here it is please hurry… your our only hope
It's not hidden or anything, and you don't even have to click a link - you just need to be able to read I think that's why no one here mentioned it.
If you're new players with questions about games, what to expect, where to start, whether to start new games or existing ones then I suggest checking this forum http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/index.php?f=7 where you'll find lots of answers to your questions. Alternatively, just private message one of us - we don't bite

Ok so no reply to my emails yet (after I got the email with the journal page of course). There must be something we are missing. A clue somewhere. What about something to do with the date. Or maybe telekinesis since that is what he is talking about (moving objects with his mind).
Also, is it just me or does it look like there is some shading on the journal page that was sent? I can't tell what it is if there is one.

actually if you read the journal he uses the prefix "un" three different times
Unseen
Unordinary
Unexplained
Odd phrasing if you as me

Yes..Im a nOOb. And Im hoping to join this trailhead, and game. but what if the date is actually 1114 and not 1946? Or am I way off course. The reason I'm wondering this is bc of the type of typography that is used, the type of media that is used (ie. the feather pen/bottle of ink), and the type of paper that is used. (old)

I'm pretty sure ther emust be an anagram in there somewhere :/
"AMOuNt of Grates" is just nonsensical and the capital G is just wholly random.
For the record, I fiddled with the image and destegged and whatnot but I could but there was nothing hidden that I could see. Someone else might want to try though.

No, I don't mean taking out the capital letters, i mean in general. Scrap what I said about the capital 'G' - I forgot about the other thing. What I mean is "Amount of grates" regardless of capital letters is not a sentence that makes sense unless you're possibly a fireplace salesman. That's what I'm wondering about anagram-wise.

I tried plugging it into an anagram program but I haven't come up with anything useful. There are a lot of words that those letters can make. And since we don't know how many words, it is even harder
