 		Uh... question since I don't use MySpace...

On the Glass Helmet's blog page...

...where it has the new blog entry from 12/3, it says the "Last Updated" date to be 11/13.

Is that a *separate* date from the date of the actual blog entry? Is that simply the last time the PROFILE was updated?

'cause if this is the time that it was last posted, I figure that it means that the 12/3 posting appeared automatically on 12/3 (I assume you can post-date an entry so that it appears eventually), but was written back on 11/13. If that's the case, that to me proves the authenticity of this site and TIDOWave.

But I need to know how MySpace works in this regard before I make that determination.

 		Most likely last profile update. If you look at Jamie's, it says last updated August 30th.

Ok i'll get more news soon about this but the person i gave the chinese phrases to actually freaked out and asked me i was about to start learning how to create a virus....

I think you guys might really be on to something with those altered tags. Why else would that be like that? Especially with the one that says specifically that it was encoded in iTunes... why then would the tags not read in iTunes? I think we should really play around with these hex strings some more... Lets flip them backwards and upside-down and see if we can't get some sort of meaning out of them. I like where you're going with the Chinese/Japanese translation, I wish I knew one of the languages so I could help out more... I'll talk to my buddies.


The MySpace has been checked. Some of the first comments (the day it was created, and also the release of the Jamie and Teddy video playing their song) were left by unForum members.

IMO there needs to be a little more proof for me the chalk this as IG.

 		OK, let's see if this adds any fuel to the debate. Attached I've taken the audio from Jamie's last movie and dropped it into one audio channel and taken one of the channels from the MP3 on the myspace page and added it to the other. One file for each channel in the myspace file (audio in the movie is mono).

 		Toasty. You mean you added the Myspace video music to both the right and left channels? So in each file we have a stereo representation of the song, bust with the myspace on the opposite channel?

One other thought would be to Mix down the Stereo file and then match the two files to see what inconsistencies there are, if any.

You could also do a noise cancellation to see if anything was hidden in the quicktime audio.

I think this pretty much puts to bed the thought of a third party cover of it.

 		GreenHelmetsRight has the right channel from the MP3 with the movie audio placed in the left channel.
GreenHelmetsLeft has the left channel from the MP3 with the movie audio placed in the right channel.

Audio from the movie is 8kHz, so not much you can do to it. No clicks or strange noise I can hear.

 		You could use the downmixed mp3 from myspace as the noise sample. It should theoretically remove all the actual song information.

 		One more. Not quite what you're asking for matt, but I'm not exactly sure how to get that accomplished in Adobe Audition. Anyway, this one has the MP3 downmixed into the right channel and the movie in the left which makes a little more sense to compare.

 		Well I tried it. Nothing is hidden in either track.

I'm trying to hear the lyrics. I can't hear much. but there is flip flopping between (Nothing in the Universe was good) and (Everything in the universe was good). Searching on that leads to the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. The lyrics are really kicking my butt. I'm so not in tune with this style of music.
