ye ok u cud b rite about that dude there... i dont know to me its very unclear and i can understand if someone would have doubts about that , however....the wallpaper...u cant possibly (even if u are the most bored geek on the whole internet) take a still from a trailer, use the background texture and print it off (that size+quality) only to shoot a video of someone (in the same clothes as rob) standing in front of it.

 		or just i dunno, went out and got the same wallpaper, does'nt take a techno god to take a pic of the wallpaper and bring it to a specialist to match, ppl do it all the time.

Long time listener, first time caller.

The Wallpaper you speak of doesn't really look like wallpaper at all.
It almost looks a curtain or something. I re watched the 1st trailer, and i think i can actually see it swinging.

yes i know but i didnt know what else to call it...ahhh come on.... noway someone wud take that detail from the trailer 1 and go out and buy (or make) one exactly like it...

where exactly is the acting bad?? u can barely understand/see anything!! hahaha

Please drop the argument of whether it's legit or not and start talking about what we saw.

 		Wow, I really can't believe this many people are ignorant about video production and STILL think this is fake. If this trailer is a fake the guy who made it will be working in Hollywood tomorrow on the next multi-million dollar movie.

 		Okay, so it's real, and my hope for this film has just decreased somewhat. We still can't discuss what we saw, because we saw jack all! Talking about what we SAW would be like talking about what we TASTED - practically useless.

you guys seriously can't wait another day or two for the trailer to come online? geez. i can understand going to see beowulf to check out the trailer, because its gonna be sweet on the big screen, but to dissect the very wallpaper in a single shot of a shitty quality trailer is a little overboard.

i came here to watch the bootleg version and all i here is OMG THE WALLPAPERZ IS DIFFRNT IT CANT BE REALZ. of course its real, the only nerd in the entire world would go out of his way to make this trailer is jj abrams, and the only reason he's doing it is because thats what you do to promote your movie. in the unlikely case that the bootleg is a decoy trailer, ill shut my mouth.

its real.

 		I saw plenty - something impaling a woman, the statue of liberty destroyed, a helicopter ride, a store with people being attacked after the windows are smashed, men shooting rockets, a soldier and a woman caught in a field of light, and "Cloverfield." That was practically everything we got from these clips anyway!

Just wait for the HD version of the video and cream your pants then, but I'm sure we can make more discussion out of this other than "omgz itz legit", "no it isn't clearly it's transformers line in there guys."

thats not what i was saying at all. i've been trying to prove the trailer as legit, its pretty silly to say its not.

i just think its a stupid line
