they seem to play scared pretty good... lol

idk, acting is always hard to feel out from a trailer, especially with so little dialog...
but

no-names+low budget+monster movie=bad acting

Crying or Very sad

I dont think the quality of acting will be too important with this one. Some movies, just dont need good acting. They just need action. Some movies need quality performances as the number one thing. I mean you wouldnt say "Yeah, Gone with the Wind really dropped the ball, There was no T!ts in it."

So a Monster movie, just needs a cool monster, and sh!t hitting the fan. I wont go to Cloverfield looking for riviting character interaction.

I just wanted to say it before someone else did who really meant it.

Actually I thought it was quite funny given the hectic pace this thread is growing by and I'm sure someone will be along soone enough who will seriously post somehting like this (or Rampage or Godzilla etc)

true true...
BUT
when its as personal as this will be (following a small group around, getting their perspective of the entire even) you need to atleast invest in that part as much as you would the monster itself...

With Godzilla, no one cared about the people (even if it was built around them) you only cared about Godzilla... in this movie, i guess you're suppsoed to care/pay attention to the people you're following...

I want to start off with a kudos for JFTeran, great job dude, hope you enjoy your 15 mins in Cloverfield history, lol.

I'm dubious about the mutant attack theories. If you look in the foreground of this scene you can a man, perhaps a part of the medical personnel, nonchalantly going about his work. The scene may simply be two men in biohazard suits trying to restrain someone who has been quarantined.

Great trailer, I really hope the buzz picks up for this movie again.

Caught Looking, it seems calm in the screen caps, but at that part in the trailer you can hear screaming and see people running away from the shadows.

Well, someone is not thrilled about it all being videotaped. At 1:01, right after someone says "..she's dying", we see a man say "Turn that camera (off)". Then we see the infamous silhouetted hazmat guys (or little monsters, depending on which school you go to) do their thing.

Actually there is still a guy sitting very calm on front of them on a cot or something.
