 		Seems to me they reused very little from the first trailer, and even reshot the opening clips from the party where Rob walks in. Definitely no cuckoo clock sound, but a much better metal crunching sound when the SoL head hits the building. Major improvement. I hate the name "Cloverfield". It sounds like a musical's name to me, but oh well. That was a major let-down, and makes little sense.

 		After almost 6 hours of work on setting up my new Mac mini, I come back to find this...
Well isn't this interesting.
I'm interested to see how soon they get this new trailer up on the Apple site. i'd like to get a much better look at it. (Which thanks to this new mini I can finally watch Apple trailers in proper fullscreen via FrontRow.)
I can also see that some people don't know the difference between debate and arguing, and maybe not the meaning of 'play nice'InAFieldofClover NYC5 DougBThree
I'll stick to the usefulness of my skepticism.

I've got news for you though, that 'leaked' version in the camera phone format wasn't being held in a person's hand - there was either a phone sitting on a surface or that was taken with something better and recoded (to protect the guilty who recorded it? suck to lose your job for that, wouldn't it?).
Now we can get down to analyzing this and disagreeing about everything.

Considering the trademark issues still outstanding (as also discussed in other threads), I still suspect that JJ could be toying with everyone over the title - as I suspect he was when they came up with the 'Monstrous' poster.

 		I started laughing when I saw the shadows of the "mini-monsters" on the wall. They look like Furby's with legs. But then again, it could be because it's early and I went to bed late.

That's my view of it exactly... i get the feeling this movie might not be called cloverfield... i mean technically he could wait til he has to ship out the movie to the theaters to change the name completely... true it would piss us all off... A LOT... but maybe thats another thing this arg/are helps us find before everyone else... idk just theorizing...

I suspect sooner rather than later. The "official" trailer is now released, so Paramount will now start their official push for the movie. To be honest November's halfway over, December is almost here and it will take a good month to really build mass interest.

Things will start moving rather quickly soon, folks.

I suspect the high quality trailer to be featured on the actual movie's website as well.

i saw in the theater and what i originally thought i heard him say was something like 'rob you got my cell? its alive' but that was just my first impression also in the theater when they say
'what is it?' and here noise i thought it sounded more like clicky scuttling like a crab or insect type legs vs wings
