Aw crap...this is what happens while I'm sick. JFTeran, you're the...person (sorry, I'm not certain of you're gender and I don't want to offend) for putting this up. I've gotta say that the monster that Evil found behind the building looks remarkably like the prehistoric dragon from that Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real special that was on Animal Planet. I'd bet that those frames are going to be uber-important once the HD trailer comes out, since whatever that thing is just doesn't look or move like debris or whatever may be attributed to it.

Also, the military seems to be a little careless with how they handle the monster. They're firing rockets, 120mm rounds, and a whole lot of small arms fire at a monster that looks like it's zig-zagging in and out of the buildings. Aren't they at all worried about collateral damage?

Actually kinda reminds me of the 1998 Godzilla where the army accidentally takes out the Chrysler building. Don't ask me why, but I enjoyed that movie. Then again, I haven't seen it since I was 9.

Anyway, I was looking at Evil's gif of the anomaly between the buildings, and I did a bit of contrast re-adjusting and added some smoothing/sharpening filters. What I noticed was that if I added some texture lines to break-up the image, it actually became a bit clearer (I think). Maybe it's just an optical illusion, but I think I can kind of make out either some skin texture or musculature now. Anyone else seeing that?

no way that texture filter made it any better but thanks anyway. ye u can clearly see the shape of something huge and green disappearing behind a building...

i like it how that thing sort of casually walks down the street...maybe it just wants to ask for the way to the next underground station hahaha

I don't know if anyone has come up with the same idea here but maybe the present infects Jamie, who then spreads it. If it's an infection, I mean. If this has been thought of, disregard this post.

Everything's Magic

I saw Beowulf today and the trailer was in such good quality. I can't imagine watching it on these poopy YouTube vids anymore. You can actually see that the monster has a tail and is standing erect, etc.
