The tools, the tricks etc - someone who wants to be an Obi Wan to my Anakin but, y'know, without all the chopping off of limbs and stuff. I'm a total n00b so any tutelage would be awesomely appreciated

I don't think it is IG. There is an images directory that has had some images in it since February and the others appear to be stock images.

Also, it has a favicon set and, with the exception of sakanasherald.com, which has a blank favicon, none of the IG sites have them.

I reckon it's deffo IG. On the J&R site they write 'Our Green Door Development is currently under revision. Please check back later for the relaunching of Green Door.' - don't think the PM would link straight to an OOG site or even pretend that Green Door was part of J&R...

Also, the use of the word door is quite interesting, given the emails that Jericho fans received. How about emailing Green Door the writing that someone 'unlocked' from the sound on the BHRC site? Sounds waaay too obvious, but just thinking out loud...

Kind of depends on whether this is fan-based or not, no? Also depends on whether this was mostly pre-scripted or work-in-progress.

I don't think the WGA strike will affect the game. Here's my reasoning for that conclusion. The story arc for Jericho had already been mapped out for the series. The game started in August prior to the strike. My guess is that CBS has outsourced the game to somebody that is knowledgable in ARGs. Since they are web geeks, they aren't going to be part of the WGA and would already have the background story to development their game.

But then, I'm not always right. Just ask my wife

It looks like the front page of the J&R site has been updated to include the morse text from the video. I don't see any other changes, so far.

actually I read somewhere (my guess is entertainment weekly) that online projects are not specifically governed by WGA rules at present and writers are actually using online projectsto make money during the strike.

Things revealed within the already written (and/or taped) episodes may have been put in there by the powers that be (in my little world, i'm thinking the studios that make the series have the ARG writers on the payroll). And those things may have a direct impact on this...game/experience/insanely tormenting experiment.

I've been away for a few days, but I found something interesting. When I Googled Green Door Development, I came up to a blog for a Web design company that might have made greendoordevelopment.com. They are even based in Chicago. http://yellmedia.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html

When Tooman told the Jericho fans that we needed to unlock the sound to open the door, the only assumption from that could be that he was referring to the node 6 sound, and "the door" has to be the Green Door Development site. Has anyone tried any url attachments to the Green Door site(i.e., /index.html, etc)? I'm going to try some combinations today, see what I can come up with.

I really don't think greendoordevelopement.com is IG. The registration data shows it has been registered since 2006 and when you look in the images directory nothing there is related to anything IG, plus the logo image file has been in there since February.
