[SPEC] The monster is... Here we go...
Facts:
- Slusho is a very popular drink.
- Slusho contains a "magic ingredient" harvested from the bottom of the sea.
- This magic ingredient was discovered by Ganu Yoshida.
- Ganu's mother, Noriko, disappeared on a ocean voyage to find just such a magic ingredient for her beverages.
- Noriko was nicknamed "The Littlest Whale."
- Ganu had a dream wherein a whale appeared to him and told him to drink the magic ingredient. He did so and grew to be the size of the whale. Afterwards he realized that the substance he just discovered was his mother's lost "magic ingredient" and he started putting it in beverages.
- About half way through the trailer (in the hospital scene) a silhouette of a woman fighting with two men in hazmat suits can be seen. She begins to expand and mutate right before it cuts.
Speculation:
- The magic ingredient causes mutations.
- The big monster is Noriko.
- There are also several little monsters. The people who are mutating.

I think the monster is Abraham Lincoln. A blustery breeze blew away his top hat so he's just looking for it.

omg! I think you're onto something, OP, you know how American audiences have been craving a mutated Japanese person on the big-screen.
I kind of wonder what world you live in. You forgot to add to your 'speculation' that the shapes behind the screen look like the Pear Duck Machine thing from Slusho. Oh, and that a drink makes giant monsters. Ya. Have fun watching that movie.
