 [SPEC] mistake or leak?

in the description text on empireonline they say

"Was the wait worth it? We think so. We get a much stronger sense of the story – monsters attack New York and knock most of it over – and a proper look at how the handheld style will work while still retaining the big bang blockbuster quality, i.e. brilliantly."

when i think of the words of that army guy saying:
"whatever it is, its winning"

he talks about one monster

when i think of the scene, where the woman and the hazmat guys seen as shadows, i ask my self about the wound on her shoulder, and the bleedings from mouth, eyes and ears seen in an other pic of that scene

infection? or what

point is ...... empireonline got the "original" trailer and never before seen pics of the movie, before something happened on the original movie or apple trailer site and they are talking about monsterS..... not monsteR Very Happy

Indeed, look at Lily's wounds:

If it were that alive huge monster, there weren't no Lily anymore...

I think it is interesting that in the new HD clip, when the two people in HazMat suits are holding the woman, she seems to visably swell from her neck to her waist... the shadows of the HazMat suit people don't... which implies it isn't a shift in light source, but rather - the woman is swelling like a balloon and about to pop. Slusho as a breeding ground of fast growing micro organisms... would be,... properly horrific (combined with a towering monster that destroys city blocks at a go).

@ 0:56 the army guy shouts something like "theres nothing you or can do for her" while she was to put her hands against the wall

like the cops are busting someone

isnt she the "exploding" woman behind the courtain with the hazmat guys

and the guy telling to shut of the cam off mhhhhhh

and i have to correct myself the right hazmat guy is hitting her with something into the stomach not the shoulder

She could have received those cuts from anywhere. Flying debris, a fall, who knows. Im still not sold on the mini-monsters idea.

Then what are they holding back behind that door? Wink

This picture is very telling, in my opinion... There's obviously someone or something they are trying to keep on the other side of the door.

It could be smaller monsters or it could be the military. I think from the looks on their faces and the effort with which they are holding the door may indicate an inhuman threat.

People with big freaking guns (of course, they'd just blow the door down).

Little monsters or not, the island would be quarantined (like in Outbreak), and the military's orders could be simply "Nothing in or out, and kill anything that tries to do either".

On her shirt/dress are a couple more sets of similar cuts (pairs of lines) that match her shoulder cuts. No one has mentioned those yet that I have seen.

Also, if they are locking a door against something/someone it sure isn't a building-smashing sized monster. More along the size of something that could fit through the door. (human sized) Or could they be locking something IN?

Also, I have never seen a door like that before, where would they find a door with a huge deadbolt like that? That may lend some tight on the issue. And why isn't Hud/whoever is filming lending a hand if it's such a strain to get the door closed?

It could be a large freezer.

my thoughts exactly. With a town in a panic the size of New York, there is no telling what they could be doing here.

Im not saying the mini monster theory is not possible, im just not sold on it yet. But they definitely could be holding back a group if "infected" people.

The deadbolt looks like something they would put on the back of a door to an apartment building.

On top that, the walls look like they are made of wood, in which case it wouldn't be a freezer.

And surprisingly, Rob's not hurt and his clothes are still intact. Surprised

I was thinking that too, but I figured maybe there may be concrete underneath the planks, which may just be for show.
