[Spec] Why is the army Bombing mutiple spots?

Maybe they're using the "bombs" to help "contain" the monster in a specific area. Just a guess...

possible... looks like they are bombing in a circular area around the shown district... but i dont know if some crashed buildings could stop it.

Who says they where bombing, remember the big explosion in the teaser, they could be flying away(and it was suggested there where multiple explosions).

It could have been a bomb, the big explosion.

Also, perhaps the body explode virus uses any slusho in the infecteded peoples stomacs as a catalyst, to cause these explosions....

should be noted that in that scene where the jet is flying toward the scree up and away from the streets, its shooting missles up and ahead of itself, at the old girls head? i presume it would be the only reason to fire in that direction after nuking the street.

thats an interesting point... maybe they want ppl to think the jets are bombing the city... but its exploding ppl that are infected by the virus :/

I think you're right about the Rob going into Manhattan thing.
