As I've stated elsewhere, those pics are publicity shots. They are illuminated fully so you can actually see what's going on, and are likely posed and/or shot from a different angle than the actual filming does. They intentionally are brighter lit, and may offer a unique perspective on a given scene. Don't take them as canon of the content of the movie itself.

They can also be shot by the production crew during a rehearsal of a scene. once the cast rehearsed the movie lighting is applied and they film. Or the lighting can be changed in post production.

Yes but the pictures take place indoors while the scene is shot outside. They are not the same scene. There is no way.

I don't see how you are so sure that's outside.
It's a large space, but I never see anything that's clearly outdoors in that sequence.

You can't tell me that when the camera is panning it doesn't look like it's outside. And it sure as hell isn't the same setting as those pictures.

You guys all just assumed it was her cause of those pictures. There's more then one girl in NYC who could've been infected.

Yea, I dont see how you can be so sure it's outside either. I mean what are the odds that we get a publicity shot of her with Two guys in hazmat suits and then the trailer with a chick with the same figure, haircut as height as her with two guys in hazmat suits but its not her. I think its her.

If i remember correctly, all those publicity shots relate to shots in the trailer?

I think that the field hospital is in the subway, because (a) we know from publicity shots that Lena makes it that far into the film alive and (b) if you were looking for safe haven from a thing the size of a skyscraper my money would be on the subway.

I've watched that shadowplay over and over and there's just not enough information to know anything. It's too brief, there's a dramatic music moment and some sound effect - we could read whatever we want into it. For all we know, it could just be that the guy on the right is punching the woman being held, because she's freaking out, hysterical, a screaming pain in the ass, etc. No monster births needed. It could be something more horrible, some kind of Slusho moment, but we cannot possibly tell based on these shadows - that's probably the whole point, though, doncha think?

There's also a guy setting up an I.V. (not in shadows, but right there in the frame), and he looks relatively normal - he's not freaking out or looking aghast. Nada. Just settin' up my I.V. while a woman explodes over there.. dum-de-dum...

I've watched the scene several times, in the 1080p format, on my HD display.
The biohazard suited guy on the right does appear to be punching at her abdomen about at the point she looks ready to 'pop'. I think whatever makes her explode is indeed coming out of her ala Alien. This goes along the lines of parasitic larva, using the host to feed and grow so they can metamorphose into a more adult form.

I like the idea of the scene being in the subway, as there's no indication of sky or tall buildings behind them in the shot, and at the beginning you do see that they are looking along something that looks longer than it is wide. The bright light at the beginning of the sequence gives the impression of a light in a tunnel too.
