again my personal theory only... we dont see her but im sure that's her that says "we cannot go into the middle of the city!"... compare that to her videos and it sounds just like her...

Well, the "Rob's Awesome Girl" is still there, so I think this proves two different girls, two different roles:

Also notice $11 guy (Klugman) on the right and the white guy with the fro on the left who I think is who leads Rob into the party now.

I posted this in another thread already, but I was wondering the same thing. She doesn't appear in the credits either, so even if she does appear, apparently she's not a major character. Is it possible that she is not in the movie at all? Maybe she dies before the party/movie or is off visiting Teddy at the time this all goes down? She could just be exclusively for the purposes of this ARG/marketing, too... like Rachel Blake for the people who followed the Lost ARG.

"Where is Jamie?!" My thoughts exactly. This ARG/E has devoted a certain amount of effort in showing us: she digs a fella named Teddy who may be saving the world, or plotting it's demise; she drinks quite a bit; she suffers from a U.T.I.; she's getting a "surprise" dec 9th; and she was at Rob's party. My guess, we will be told more through J&T site and possibly the Myspace pages in December. But the other question still hangs, Who and where is TEDDY?

She's going to be the stereotypical "red shirt" in the Cloverfield world. I think Abrams would enjoy the irony of having the most developed character in this 'ARG' (if you wanna call it that) be the quickest to die in the actual film itself.

Yeah i think she will be the first to go. Does anyone else get an idea of her present might be the beginning of what willl start 1 -18-08. I think the present is goign to be something that will make her say WTF and then she will get pissed and confess everything or soemthign dramatic like that. And the present will be a warning of something to come because there must be a reason that it is demeber ninth, the only thing that i could imagine that teddy would send her a present and tell her to open it on a certain date would be there anniversary, which she would mention or her birthday, or Christmas or a holidy. IDK but i htink the present is very suspicious as her appearencei nthefilm.

Is it any possibilty that she left the party for feeling sick (bladder infection?) or weak or she just left before the whole attack started.

The J&T site does not hype up this flick. Heck, we don't even find it that usefull. It's a bunch of unanswered questions, that we tend to overanalyze. U.T.I.'s, cornbread, what's in the box, is that a GUY in her bed?!, her missing phone and purse, where the heck is her boyfriend and what's he up to...What's that thing she's playing with?! Wait, the Bold Futura Logo! Jamie is our drunken hussy of a Bold Future!!! She's a big part of this flick if ya ask me. I don't mean to go off on a tangent, but does anybody remember the movie "dogma"? If you saw Clerks and mallrats,you knew who was gonna be starring in the movie...but you see God, and it's Alanis Morisette. She's not in the titles, but has an important role. Wow, that's a weak comparison, bt I hope you get my gist. Jamie and Teddy (in my opinion) will have a part in this movie.

Could her bladder infection be the beginning symptoms of the virus? Could she be the patient zero for monster to human transmission?
