I hate quoting the imdb forums, so unreliable, but check this out:

I asked him what Slusho was and where he got it from and he said a van turned up outside about 6 hours ago and asked him if he would sell the drinks. So they gave him about 200 cups and the machine with ingredient sachets that you just mix with water. He sold a large one to me for $3.20
He also said they gave him 6 Slusho T-Shirts and he was selling them for $20 (I bought one, always wanted a Slusho T-Shirt!)
I can't quite make the taste out, it tastes like it has a hint of cherry and chocolate, with a stronger taste of mixed berries. Its a red coloured drink. But man, is it good! Now I understand why you can't drink just six!

I don't know if the dairy owner is a fan of Cloverfield and just made this up for fun or if this really is real. I am in New Zealand and where I live there are 2 dairys close to each other (few roads apart). I drove past the second dairy and I did see a Slusho sign in the window. So maybe JJ is starting the Slusho viral marketing campain in New Zealand and Australia? (We do get the movie on the 17th, 2 days before America)


He DOES have pictures of it, although he could have made the cup himself. I dunno, I'm buying it.

Still, I find the idea that the guy would just start selling that stuff without knowing the supplier very suspect.

 		Fake. Look at the cup compared to the ones with the Hero's stars. its different. in the Hero's cups the red border is straight line, in his pics they are curved. Heros cups, the design goes all the way up to the lid, his stops way short of the lid. My opinion only.

PS. and there are no yellow rays coming from behind his slusho cup on the cup.

 		I do believe it fake.

In the first picture you can clearly see the paper inside the cup is separate from the cup itself, if you look at the right side up the cup by the lid.

 		Someone already proved this fake based on the difference between the cup before and after the IMDB forum wanted a UPC...

Yeah, nah it was fake guys, its actually a frozen coke cup from McDonalds. LOL
When I saw the pictures from Heroes...I was like...holy crap...that looks just like a Slusho...AND THE RED STRAW.

So I tried to fool you all. For a second time. It worked for a page (about an hour).

But yeah...you gotta admit...it was a pretty good fake (If I had spent a day or 2 more on it I could have made it better (Including actually making a barcode LOL)

Yeah...I'm the guy who drank a fake Slusho™ and exploded. Call me...Exploding Dan!
