Yea, I agree. It's like her rib cage is expanding out and 'something' is coming out of her. But what's weird is, if something is coming out of her. Haz-Suits wont protect them from it. Maybe instead of a creature it's just, I unno a biological agent that makes your body explode?

And if you look at the dude just sitting there at the right corner. It can't be a monster to me. Everyone in that frame is

1. Chilling out like the dude in the corner
2. Haz Mat guys are behind a plastic sheet holding some girl as she explodes. If it was a monster, Im pretty shure they would have capped her ass before it had time to spawn.

Yea, I think its more of a biological thing happening to her vs. some creature popping out of her like Alien.

On i a side note, I am so glad they did not reveal the monster. I really want to wait till the theatre to see it. I may have to quit this board soon as i dont want the suprise ruined by some dork with out spoiler warnings...

I concure. But look at it this way, if you/we do. We have 2 months till it comes out. Well, yesterday was 2 months. Anyway, Yes, I still beleive it's a bio agent making her do this.

And yea her body is morphing like in Rampage. But I still hold true to that everyone is to casual about her situation. So I dont think its that

The "lady" in question is Marlena Diamond, btw -- played by Lizzie Caplan.

Yeah, she's either about to 'splode, or just rot inside out from a flesh-eating virus....or possibly go all "Rampage." I still don't rule out the possibility that the movie is loosely (VERY) based on "Rampage," since that was one of the earliest rumors from WAYYYY back, before anyone even knew about this movie.

It looks like when the guy on the right is hitting her possibly in the stomach, thats when she is poofing out. So is that a trick of the light, being pushed back from his punch? I dont think so. Could he be injecting her with something to make her expand and thus die? Seems more likely. Watching it in real time you can definitely see him hit her, then frame by frame, it looks like his contact is when she starts poofing.

Its possible that shes not expanding, but is wearing loose clothing, for example,a towel, and and she moves her elbows out.

He's either hitting her, or rushing to grab her, it's impossible to tell. Based on the bloody eyes, sickly look of Marlena in this scene (if that's her, I believe it is), I'm not sure why they'd hit her. She didn't see able to hold herself up, let alone resist. I could see them restraining/supporting her so she doesn't collapse, then suddenly she pops before they can react. As for a trick of the light due to loose clothing, Marlena wasn't wearing loose clothing in the production photo - granted, her top black blouse may be a bit loose, but it's not a factor as shown in the image.

Again, this speculation is based on the combination of the trailer scene plus the production photo showing Rob's horrified expression while looking and a sickly Marlena's midsection while being supported by two hazmat people. This photo deserves some scrutiny in regards to the scene in question:

i haven't seen the hd trailer but based on the stills here...methinks she laying on a gurney with her legs up in stirrups and what you might be seeing are her knees

Looks like expanding but its probly just the shadows playing tricks..well either way, shes has some kind of virus for her to have her eyes, nose and mouth dripping with blood.

Just doing some research on hazmat suits:

Hazmat suits may provide protection from:

Chemical agents - through the use of appropriate barrier materials like teflon, heavy PVC or rubber and tyvek[citation needed]

Nuclear agents - possibly via through radiation shielding in the lining, but more importantly by preventing direct contact with or inhalation of radioactive particles or gas

Biological agents - through fully sealed systems (often at overpressure to prevent contamination even if the suit is damaged)

Fire/high temperatures - usually by a combination of insulating and reflective materials which reduce or retard the effects.

Based on this information, it's chemical, biological or radioactive. The fact that the people in hazmat suits are focused on apparent victims would lead one to believe that they are looking for a contaminant of some sort. A virus would have an incubation period, chemical or biological fallout would be much quicker.
