just saying...
you know it would be awesome if it were the heroes vs a "real monster", told from an unrelated party point of view.

I don't know how much more interplay there will be between the two shows...Heroes is produced by Universal and Cloverfield by Paramount (also only two epi's left of Heroes for the year).

We should keep an eye out on Tagurato. We may get a headline that reads "SLUSHO! Brightens the day for a few great American actors!" It could still flow with the story line. The cast of heros was given the drink first to try out.

Hiro and his dad enjoying the slusho at the funeral of Hiro's mom is just about the best picture ever. I imagine the father grieving, when all of the Slusho! Smilers come dancing into the cemetery in bright outfits with party music and slusho for everyone!
In Cloverfield 2 the heroes will fight the monster with the help of Tesla and Mark Twain, who Hiro brought back from the past. (Don't mind me, I have a cold and it's making me weird)

There's one big difference from Slusho before and Slusho now... Those were real cups with real lids. It looks suprisingly like 7-11 cups. Could those pics be a marketing campaign with Heroes helping out the Bad Robot team.
I think they look like 7-11 cups because they are. Look at the last pic- "HRG can also find Slusho! amusing"- and you can see a raised paper bottom on the Slusho! cup. It looks exactly like a waxpaper fountain drink cup you'd get from any fast food joint. My money's on promo Slusho! fountain drink cups for theatres, for use before (Dec 9, perhaps?) and during the films' theatrical run.

I know we are over-analyzing this, but...
I'll go one step further, and suggest that it is NOT a cup at all inside that clear cup. I look to me like they just printed out the Slusho design and rolled into tube, then put it inside a clear cup. Based on the HRG picture, there doesn't appear to be a bottom at all, and where the ends wrap around and meet, they don't quite match up.

actually, it looks like something I made recently for a client.
They had the standard cups (you can buy in bulk for small businesses)
I made them the inserts printed on this semi-plastic/paper stuff...
They'd insert them into the cups, then fill it up with their stuff... you can see the color of the slushee type drink through the bottom, which is kinda cool....
very cheap... pretty cost effective because it gives you the same effect as a pre-printed plastic cup...
