[SPEC] Notice the soldier go down around 1:26?
Does he slip, get shot? He's definitely falling backwards.

Just seemed kind of odd that he'd fall back like that even though the soldiers themselves didn't seem to be under fire.

Do you mean this guy?
I watched it slowly, he just slips trying to go to a kneeling position and falls on his arse.

Yep, that's the guy.

Pretty funny if that is indeed the case. Smile

these guys are under pressure, i'd be fumbling my gun and fallin over like a prat too if a big monster was advancing and destroying buildings. no matter how much training you get in the military, it somehow doesn't prepare you for the eventuality of a big ass monster

You can say that again. no amount of training or simulation is going to prepare the human mind for seeing something like that. Just standing your ground at all in that situation is heroic in my eyes. I know id be running and hiding like a little bitch Shocked

[META] Could be slipping too

Could've just been a [META] stunt man slipping while filming the scene, like the legendary "Stromtrooper bumping his head on the door" in the originally released Star Wars that was even a "call back" in the prequels.
