Interesting name choice Interesting name choice for a first-time poster that shows up at the same time the Tagruato site is hacked saying they are killing the oceans.

I don't think I've seen this mentioned before. I'm trying to reconcile comments from this update prior to the hack with comments that led us to Tagruato in the first place. From the investor news article, we are told:
Quote:
The Slusho! Board of Directors would like to assure you that the article's claims are completely false and that there is no Seabed's Nectar available outside their contained factories.
However, this appears to contradict information from the Vernon MacDooble review:
Quote:
The recipe, he blabbered, was sent to him by his brother, a fellow chef working in Tokyo, where it had been gaining favor in some of Japan's most well-renowned restaurants. It contained the finest ingredients money can buy, from fresh bay leaves imported by a company called Fotopoulos Herb Gardens in Crete, to something the Japanese call "kaitei no mitsu", or "Seabed's Nectar", shipped in dry ice by a company out of Honshu called Tagruato.
Simply a continuity error by the PMs or what?

Yeah, I mentioned that elsewhere. Also note that a person called Azrael posted on the Effect saying "Finally, people who respect what I did!"

Probably. In fact, the whole Ravaille/Board of Directors/science forum posting thing seemed a bit botched, what with OOG references to Slusho being a fictional beverage on the forum. Maybe they just wanted to bail out of the whole thing and went with the "hacked" Tagruato page to cover their mistake. The reference on the phone message to a Paraffun recall also seems a bit out of context, almost as if we were to have learned about a recall somehow (perhaps another investor's message on tagruato.jp?).
I'm certainly glad for the veritable flood of new stuff (at least compared to recent weeks), but things seem a bit disjointed and chaotic. Of course, that could well be intentional.

1265 08 41 The numbers on the nectar article' header is something that still bothers me. I haven't found any good explanation around so here's a guess. Those numbers (1265 08 41 ) are placed where we should see the name of the publication (i.e Scandinavian journal of whatever ). Maybe it is something we should look further into. Sorry if it sounds out of place but, I am still trying to get used to the fact that we are are given a bunch of info, then....nothing for 2 weeks.

Maybe we should try those numbers with the voicemail system?
