Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You are almost there... Did you 'solve' the puzzle on the laptop a second time, using the note you found?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you did, make a note of the positions of the white balls on the screen of the laptop (that is: áfter you played the puzzle using the note).
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
After that, you'll have 4 keys.... that can also be used to open an electronic lock. It just depends on how you look at them.

are the circles on the note supposed to be white or dark on the computer?

The circles on the note are the ones you'll have to click on the laptop. After you've done that, make a note of the circles that have turned white

Do you win after you open the door? I've opened the door, but no message or anything has shown up.

*Giggle* Well, you just managed to open the door to the (empty) closet... Don't worry though; it could very well be that there is a second door, and a second code for you to discover.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you have four keys, they might tell you something if you look at them in a different way...

The closet is just a red herring... It's completely empty.

I don't know which one of the seven balls is still missing, but did you find the second duck (inside the cupboard)? And if you did, did you click on its beak? If you did, and thought nothing happened, just try it again and wait for a little while... With the result you should be able to open the hiding-place of a ball (I hope that's the one you are still missing).

Well, apart from using the keys to open locks, you can use them as a puzzle of sorts...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Did you already put those two cards on top of each other to see an access-code? If you did, you know how to use those four keys...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Put them in a row, right next to each other. If you put them in the correct order, they might show you something.

Fun diversion, though the second duck was giving me fits.
