Towards the end one of the bad cops yells what sounds like "Karl" - maybe he's the one who's down...

also - they mention Flass having lost a lot of weight and being "a vegetable". Is he in the hospital or anything? hence not eating well.

2261 is a number mentioned towards the end. I think it's Barhyte's badge number or car number.

Edit: Just got this in the mail, from We Are The Answer,

Plot speculation

Sorry if this is off-topic, but I need some feedback on this. Has anyone else noticed that that blond-haired kid in Batman Begins seems to be some sort of homage to Robin?

In the scene where Rachel is trying to protect him from the escaped psychos, he is wearing a red t-shirt over a green long-sleeved shirt, like Robin's costume, and he was in much more of the movie than a completely unimportant character would be.

If the kid is Robin, then he would have to be Jason Todd. Both of them lived in slums. Jason Todd was killed by the Joker, who just happens to be the bad guy in the next movie. I'm guessing this kid may become one of the Joker's victims. What do you all think?

I've considered the same thing, however, Christopher Nolan has stated that Robin will not appear in any Batman films as long as he's directing them.

And besides, Batman's way too young in these movies to have Robin, and why would they skip Dick Grayson and go straight to Jason Todd?

Well, see, I don't think they are going to make him into Robin, but even so, he seems to be a nod to the character.

Jason seems to fit the BB Universe the best, what with all the tragedy, and the fact that his story has an end. My theory is that this will be a trilogy and actually have a definite ending at the end of the third movie, perhaps with Batman sacrificing himself to save Gotham. And so a Robin whose story has a resolution seems to fit best into that idea.

Besides, his father seems most like Jason's father. Jack Drake was a kind, caring man, and Dick Grayson wouldn't be living in the Narrows. He's a part of a traveling trapeze act.

Also, in the scene where Batman reveals his identity to Rachel, she says "Bruce?" The kid is sitting behind her and likely heard the name.

Imagine this: Say the kid's parents are dead/crazy as a result of the Fear Toxin attack, and Rachel took him in as a sort of foster child. That could give him an opportunity to interact with Bruce. Bruce develops a sort of older-brother/father-son relationship with the kid, and then when the kid becomes a victim of the Joker, it drives Bruce over the edge and he kills the Joker.

Remember the quote from whysoserious: "Tonight you're gonna break your one rule." Batman's one rule: He doesn't kill anyone.

Then Batman's wanted by the police for murder.

Then that could set a sort of second-act-of-a-trilogy cliffhanger to end this movie on. And it's a way to have Robin in the movie without having Robin in the movie. It's more realistic than Bruce putting a child's life on the line fighting crime, and it safely avoids all that gay crap associated with the whole Dynamic Duo thing.

Totally me dreaming. What do you think of the idea? Would it work on screen? Do you think something like that could possibly happen? I think there's a slim chance at best, but I still think it would be cool.

I finally got a corrected version of the Gotham City map uploaded!

ta-da:
http://maplib.net/map.php?id=2096\

I added letters and numbers along the grid on the side, so we can refer to a location as being in a battleship-style (B4! You sunk my battleship!) area.

Yeah, you're right...totally you dreaming. But for a tangent, that has a surprisingly cool ring to it. Write a screenplay, kid. Wink

What address did it come from, and can you post the pictures? I didn't get an e-mail for some reason.
