So the quiz/test thing obviously isn't tied to us specifically, since it asks for now personally identifying information. I wonder how Mr. J will know who to send stuff to for the next test? Perhaps this is just an interesting diversion, and the e-mail to him is more important.

(I did have a very good time taking this, I hit 'Hilarious')

That subway website looks like it's not real in comparison to everything else, and I'm not totally trusting of how it was found.

And the personality quiz, take the number of letter in every word? That didn't make sense to me, but I guess someone found it somehow.

If you mean the City Rail website, it's legit. It was found just like all the other sites were, there are no direct links to ANY websites except wearetheanswer.org, every site was found by trying them as URLs.

On thehahahatimes.com there are certain words and phrases that are circled in red.

Gotham streets turned into=23=w
killed in=8=h
after midnight, attempting to=24=y
late last night, police=s
press conference=o
continue to take every=s
crime=e
mob watches said the=r
alignment=i
his own political=o
protect Gotham citizens=u
the soaring crime rate=s
His=c
pater familias as=o
I lived through=m

And if you do the rest [don't have the energy, and it's been done] it will spell out "personalityprofile"

Has anyone tried sending sending an email to storiesSPLATrememberinggina.org? See if the stories really get put up on the site?

So has anybody figured out where to look for this application?

Yes, I got a stack of papers as well. I'm bringing them to the movie theatre today and pass them out to folks coming out of Beowulf or if they say "yes" to liking the Batman movies.

I got 25 newspapers. I heard someone at SHH! claim they got over 100, so who knows. I'm gonna hold on to them, in case we are supposed to do something specific with them.

Re: Remembering Gina
I found a possible lead for more info

If you check rememberinggina.org, there are the names of the two officers listed in the incident. Now, go to wearetheanswer.org and submit those two names as a submit tip. They are Karl Breitup and Jason McCree. The article says that they ran after the first shot was fired. It all happened on Thanksgiving. The only part I can't figure out is where it happened. I put Filipazzo Community Festival, but maybe someone could use the Gotham maps that we are getting to narrow it down.

Owen

Following your tip Owen and just using the name of the festival, I did submit information to the wearetheanswer.org website and received the following response...

Quote:
Thank you for this information. The officer(s) you report are the subject of an open investigation and your information will certainly be included in that investigation. We hope to get back to you within 1 or 2 business day with regards to this matter (The Gotham DA's offices are closed on weekends).

Thank you for doing your part in making Gotham City better, safer, stronger. Together, We Are the Answer.

I think the "application process" hinted at in the e-mail is supposed to lead to the personality profile we've seen on WSS.com, but that could be just me...

That makes sense considering it starts off by saying ...

Quote:
Before we see if you can work for me, we need to do a little screening.

Are you made of the right stuff to be one of my clowns?

I'm looking for a certain point of view.

I think the e-mail was referring to the personality test too. The only thing is I am wondering if we need to get the exact answer they are looking for (there could be many combinations) to unlock the lock. It seems as though there may be clues throughout the paper that point to answers in the test.

For example, the ad for the job said they want someone with a criminal past (so could the one answer to the question about the institution be jail?). The ad also said they wanted someone with a big smile (so could the answer be look at face in the mirror and Smile?). The building in the paper is burning with fire (so could the correct answer be to watch it all burn?). But the best I could get using that method is Belly Buster but may not have tried all the combinations. So don't know.

When I did the questionaire I mashed almost all 4 answers before it went to the next one so getting the top rank doesn't matter. You might be right about the combination though. Althought the lock is not a combination lock.

Other Auto Replies ....

From RememberingGina.org

Quote:
I'm Gina's Aunt Gail and I'm maintaining this website for my sister, Gina's mother. Thank you for your remembrance of Gina. So many people have moved away from the old neighborhood that it's easy to forget how many people are still here. When we first moved here, I can remember we used to all sit on the stoops and the whole neighborhood knew each other. But that was before the Stratalinni's Grocery on the corner was burned down--I remember Gina and her sister used to beg for quarters to go down there and buy candy.

It was a different place then. Now I know my son will never allow my new grandson to go down to the avenue on his own. Everybody is locked up tight in the evening, we don't see each other. It takes a tragedy to remember we have neighbors.

Thank you for reminding us.

And from GothamCityRail.com

Service Note: Due to ongoing repair work on the system between Wayne Central Station and The Narrows Station, shuttle service will be running between Wayne Central Station and the Prosper Street Station where customers can use their transfer for service across the Rootsville Bridge.

rememberinggina

you may have read earlier that you can go to the site to report corrupt cops (wearetheanswer) and report jason mccree or the other guy. you do that. it happened at 7:30pm on thanksgiving (november 22nd) and it was in Little Italy. ull get an email back saying:

Quote:

(edit: unspoilered - please only use spoilers for puzzle solves; the answer is also discussed openly in a later post by the same person -thebruce)
[edit: not to mention but also Trout since it was already posted about 7 entries above this one by insane24 - kona]
