 Gotham Map (from Wikipedia)
you want more description? Isn't the subject enough?

Just for personal reference, and to cross-link with the ATM maps provided on GothamCityBank.com:

He is coming
Possible tie in to The Dark Knight leads

Has anyone seen this www.empireonline.com/heiscoming site lately? It's been swimming around all day and people are saying that it might be for a trailer. It's obvious that the picture is of TDK's Joker but does it have anything to do with any other site i.e. www.thegothamtimes.com etc? Anyhow the site you can find this at is www.empireonline.com/heiscoming Please keep this discussion alive! No dissassemble!

Any bigger than that it gets disgustingly blurry. Looks like it could be "Trademan" or "Grademan" The first letter is really hard to make out.

I'm not really sure if this helps, I'm new to this realm of ARG so excuse my grasshopper ways. I'm going to keep working on cleaning up the header and trying to piece together the bank ATM locations using a Gotham City map as a reference see where I get.

I leaning more towards trademan.

I used PS and it kinda looks like an "s" Spademan?

Also has anyone even looked at the Stuff on the right of the banner for We Are The Answer site? If you use Photshop to Invert Colors and then also change exposure it seem to be a bit more readable.

hey svillavicencio:

empire is a british film magazine. they had the first official pictures of transformers last year which turned out to be a cover. i think its just gonna be a sweet cover. they are ust getting in on the viral marketing thing by making everyone wait, because TDK is one of the most anticipated films for this summer.

So do you think this is gonna be a real, full shot, smiling, awesome picture of Ledger as Joker? If so, I'm amazed everyone isn't freaking out like I am! A NEW JOKER PICTURE OMG! Very Happy

Advisting Question
how to send an email to humanresources@whysoserious.com

How exactly do you send an email to humanresourcesSPLATwhysoserious.com to get the message where the joker tells you he sees you got his little message?

Just email the address saying you're interested.

Hello, I am new to ARGs, but I have been following The Dark Knight for some time. I wanted to point out that though this map from wikipedia seems similar in structure to the maps of Gotham found on Gotham Rail and Gotham National Bank, it is not the same map being used (note the absence of the narrows, or the different location of Gotham International Airport, for example).

I plan on comparing rail maps with bank maps for future reference, since it almost certainly seems they will be used for something down the line

Also, after random tries I earned the highest ranking "a scream" on the personality profile, but it didn't do anything new. I got the same message. Guess we are still waiting for the next test...

You didn't happen to make a note of the answers that generated the highest result? That information might be nice to have for the wiki (reference material for the archives).

Well, I got the message not by e-mailing, but by the Joker Myspace webpage releasing a bulletin. I noticed that the e-mail had the exact same message, but the e-mail did not have a large graphic clown like the bulletin did. You don't think the clown photo has anything to do with the game do you? I kind of dismissed it.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!

Ok! So the train has finally derailed! This TDK marketing campaign is letting me down by the minute and we all can thank empireonline.com for that! How are they going to have a 3-day countdown for a much anticipated Joker pic if they're going to release the picture prior to the deadline anyways?!? What is going on in this world?!? Not only that but I've gotten messages since friday from wearetheanswer.org for my submitions saying that they will send me an answer in 1-2 days! This was friday when I received the message! Then we have the little quiz to send to a friend that says it will give us further tests in a few days, this was also found on Friday! Can someone please tell me that they didn't just drop the ball on the whole shebang?!? Go to http://Batman-Dark-Knight.MovieChronicles.com to see the full pic of the Joker. I think we're being played for fools for thinking that this is about us the fans! They are going to keep releasing pictures and soon clips to the wide audience that has nothing to do with this marketing campaign and we will be left as the idiots that went all through town doing the "Jokers" bidding, finding places, spreading the word, and dressing up like clowns in front of "famous landmarks" for NOTHING but a measley 4 page newspaper!!!!

WeAreTheAnswer.org Email Update!

I just received an update from the WeAreTheAnswer.org Tip Line. A little new information was provided ...

Quote:
Thank you for providing information on Detective Sergeant Jason McCree, Badge #4217 and/or Lt. Karl Breitup, Badge #6773. An Internal Affairs investigation has been opened on these officers and your information has been forwarded to the officer leading that investigation.

Thank you for stepping forward. It is regrettable when those invested with the public trust betray the people who look to them for protection and aid. But by exposing corruption, you are part of making Gotham better, safer, stronger.

... we now have badge numbers, and it looks like this has been forwarded to internal affairs for more review.

You must be new when it comes to ARGs. Not that I'm an expert or anything, but these things usually take quite a while for them to get going. And yeah, the Empire Online thing came from left field (I don't really like the picture...). But I think being able to own a copy of the Gotham Times in a real hard copy form is a fantastic idea for the fans. I'm wishing I had done it.

Please, let it work itself out.

DetectiveHollings,
You are correct I am new at this. It's just pretty dumb the way they're going about doing this. The newspaper was cool but it will be better if it leads to something better. It doesn't seem fair that we work for some of the pictures while others are mis-managed for profit reasons. I'm not going anywhere, I'll stick this out and am trying to jump on the whole I am legend thing. Thanks alot. Let me know of any other ARG's that are as facsinating as these two!
